Bemused, I fear you are right on the money. It’s so sad. I doubt the next debate with the front runners will be any different on that score.

I’m appalled at the drum-beating. A young girl at the start asked a very good question: what would - do to defeat ISIL militarily and ideologically. Nobody paid any attention to the second issue. It was all KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! Each and every one trying to out-foam the others.
Not exactly what I understand about the values (ideology) of America. They certainly gave watchers the impression of an America quivering in its boots. Methinks ISIL was cheering, because that’s precisely what terrorists want to accomplish.

I just tuned in and it sounds pretty lively and substantive at the kiddie table.
