Bernie ups it by saying corporate America won’t like him and “Wall Street will like me even less.”

He gets bigger applause and laughs here.

HRC gets appreciative laughs from this Bernie crowd for saying “everybody should” when asked if corporate America should love her.

HRC: You’re not going to hear anything like this from any of the Republican candidates….

At the center of my policy is raising incomes…

She says: raise the minimum wage, incentivize profit sharing and pass the paycheck fairness act "a lot we can do with college affordability.

“This is the kind of debate we need to take to the Republicans in the fall.”

Bernie gets big applause on his plans to raise incomes for middle-class families.

O’Malley is already sounding like a politician speaking political speak vs. Bernie’s straight talk, easy to understand.

Bernie’s “US must not be involved in perpetual warfare” gets big applause.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 21:26:34 -0500 · Flag
Groans as O’Malley says, “May I offer a different generation’s perspective on this?”
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 21:21:47 -0500 · Flag
No sooner did I do my last post, when Fox finally found something to say: ’Malley refers to ISIS as a genocidal threat, and says they have been created due to foreign policy blunders — although he does not specify on exactly what those blunders are. “This is the new type of threat and we need to lead as a nation to confront them and create new alliances.”

Think Fox is trying to blame Hillary and Obama?

Hehe, Fox has fallen silent on its live blog. Guess they don’t want to weigh in on alienating Muslims.

HRC gets applause for saying if you’re going to put together a coalition in the region, you don’t want to alienate the members (i.e. as Trump does when he attacks Muslims).

Bernie hitting Trump on low minimum wages. “Let’s create an America that works for all of us, not a handful on top.”

Big applause.

David Muir: What do you say to Americans afraid to profile?

Bernie has good response, that if you see someone loading ammunition into a house, call 911.

Did any single media outlet ever fact check that claim that the neighbors didn’t report the San Bernardino terrorists because they were afraid of profiling? I always found it fishy.

Personally, I’m glad to see them arguing and trying to outdo each other on gun control.

So much better than GOP candidates trying to outdo themselves on nativism and war!
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:58:03 -0500 · Flag
BUT… Hillary takes a swipe at Bernie for having “moved” his position on guns.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:57:40 -0500 · Flag
HRC: I applaud O’Malley’s record, I just wish he wouldn’t represent mine.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:57:16 -0500 · Flag
Bernie: Do not tell me I have not shown courage in standing to the gun show loophole.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:56:06 -0500 · Flag
O’Malley is accusing the other two of flip-flopping on guns.

Things are getting heated. Bernie says “Calm down.”

I’m keeping an eye on Fox’s live blogging. It’s as “fair and balanced” as you’d expect.

Groans when Hillary says we have to go after terrorists from North Africa and beyond.

O’Malley playing Christie by saying it’s time to pay attention to important issues… and go to his website.

The website got a big laugh from this Bernie crowd.

HRC: Obviously, we were distressed when we learned of it… now that I think we’ve resolved your date… we’ve agreed on an independent inquiry, I think we should move on because I don’t think the American people are interested.

Reminds me of Bernie’s “I’m sick of your damn emails” line from first debate.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:41:28 -0500 · Flag
Bernie: What the DNC did arbitrarily is shut off our access… crippling our campaign… an egregious act.

I look forward to working with Secretary Clinton… about all of the breaches that have occurred. …I am not convinced that information from our campaign didn’t end up with her campaign.

…When we saw the breach two months ago, we didn’t go running to the media and make a big deal out of it.

…I apologize… I want to apologize to my supporters. This is not the type of campaign that we run.

Here comes the data breach question, right off the bat.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:38:03 -0500 · Flag
Big applause for Bernie, not surprisingly.

O’Malley’s “Fascist pleas of billionaire with big mouths” just got a laugh and he got applause for his opening statement.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:34:45 -0500 · Flag
Crowd is quiet, listening to Hillary and O’Malley.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:33:41 -0500 · Flag
I wish my hair looked as good as Hillary’s.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:33:01 -0500 · Flag
Alphabetical order? That’s what David Muir said would govern the opening statements.
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:32:00 -0500 · Flag
Why did they call Bernie last?
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:30:40 -0500 · Flag
Here we go….
Ellen commented 2015-12-19 20:04:38 -0500 · Flag
It’s a pretty full room which is somewhat surprising, given that it’s a Saturday night during Xmas season.
