FBI Director James Comey is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is expected to discuss Russiagate, the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton's emails. There will probably be fireworks.
I expect the Republicans will use this hearing to discredit the Russiagate investigation and to validate Donald Trump's bogus claim that he was wiretapped by President Obama.
There will also be lots of spin from Fox News.

Comey said the reason FBI concluded Russia favored Trump is a) because he wasn’t Clinton, who had shown antagonistic positions and b) they thought a businessman would be more amenable to making deals with Russia.

Right now, Sen. Franken is pressing Comey about Trump’s possible financial involvement with Russia. Franked asked whether Trump’s tax returns would be “material” to the investigation. Comey declined to answer.
