Here's How Fox Spun Trump's Exclusion of American Press From Russia Meeting

Those ever creative propagandists at Fox News found a way to spin the exclusion of American press at Donald Trump's meeting with Kremlin officials today even as Russian media were allowed.

Raw Story has a summary of today's suspicious Trump behavior:

One day after firing the man overseeing the FBI investigation into his presidential campaign’s ties to the Russian government, President Donald Trump spent Wednesday morning meeting with Russian government officials in the Oval Office.

However, no American media outlets were allowed to cover the event — and only photographers from Russia’s state-run media were allowed to snap photos, such as the one posted by the Russian embassy’s official Twitter account.

I can just imagine the howls from the "patriots" at Fox News if President Obama had excluded the U.S. press in favor of foreign press but since Trump is the Glorious Leader of Republicans, America takes second place:

Russian Media Invited Into Trump's Closed-Door Meeting With Kremlin Officialshttps://t.co/sRBQI8itLO

By calling the meeting "closed-door," Fox suggested that there was something extraordinary, and maybe improper, about the Russian press being allowed in. What's really extraordinary is that Americans have to rely on Russian state media for coverage.
