Hannity Canceled Restraint-Urging Rivera’s Appearance Last Night

Posted by Ellen -7835.60pc on January 08, 2020 · Flag

Geraldo Rivera has been a rather strong voice of resistance against war with Iran but he was persona non grata last night on the Hannity show, presumably because of the Iran missile strikes against U.S. bases.

Last week, Rivera got into a heated argument with Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade after he said he was "elated" at the prospect of war with Iran. (Rivera later apologized to Kilmeade, calling himself Kilmeade's "biggest fan.") But while Rivera assiduously continues to praise Trump, he also continues to promote restraint and diplomacy with Iran. But, apparently, that was too much dissent for Trump’s Bedtime BFF, Sean Hannity.

Last night, Rivera tweeted this:

Never mind Hannity just cancelled me https://t.co/ZMduJr85fe

If you ask me, restraint was needed more than ever last night. But to host Sean Hannity, it was an opportunity to dream of a bigger, more destructive conflict.

We need to realize that Hannity is just as guilty of sedition as Trump and needs to face severe consequences.

Ahhhh. The foxies want to make sure the faithful are never exposed to anything that might disturb their sleep.

Trump’s entry for the presser on Iran had a Putin-esque flavour to it: Centre-stage entry (Americans usually come from a side door), through very high doors (must date back to the times when high ceilings meant money and power) and back lighting. Putin’s long and manly walk down the carpet may not have been physically possible for Trump, if his slurring and weird tongue movements are any indication.

The only time Trump speaks in a “presidential” manner is when he sticks to what’s written on the teleprompter. Wasn’t teleprompter use somehow unacceptable for GOPers when Obama was President? Such hypocrisy boggles the mind every day.

Making way for Pirro or DiGenova+Toensing, I should imagine. It’s times like this you need deep understanding and/or mouth foam dribbling onto the desk.
