Greta Van Susteren hosted an interview with Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus on March 14. But instead of eliciting information from him, she spent most of the interview eliciting attacks on President Obama.
Van Susteren's questions:
1. She asked for Priebus' "thoughts" on President Obama's campaign ad, adding, "You guys haven't even found your candidate yet."
2. "I imagine you've gone through (the ad) with a fine-tooth comb and anything that he didn't accomplish that he promised to do or said that he wanted to do - you're going to run that one over and over and over again - right? Is that the plan?"
3. Van Susteren wondered why the Obama campaign "put out an ad against Sarah Palin, who is not running for office at all. I would have thought that the ad would come out charging hard against Romney, Gingrich or Santorum, maybe even Ron Paul."
And who better to ask about Obama's campaign strategy than the chairman of the RNC?
Finally, at about 4:30, when there was less than two minutes remaining in the interview, Van Susteren asked Priebus about the recall of Wisconsin's Republican Governor, Scott Walker.
I found this video when I was looking for a more recent interview Van Susteren did with Priebus when she also fed him partisan openings. It seems to be a pattern.
RNC PR BS
How apt . . .
