On The Five two days ago, Greg Gutfeld smeared George Soros and activists at MoveOn.org calling for a Wal-Mart strike on Friday. It was the kind of language that would have had the Fox Newsies up in arms if a liberal had said such a thing about a conservative.
Gutfeld said:
George Soros wouldn't know a Wal-Mart if he bought one. Let's face it, This is, like, as far away from this billionaires life. Is he our self-appointed Labor Secretary? Why doesn't Obama just appoint him as the Destroy America czar? Because he hates this place. By the way, shopping is the exercise in the gym that is capitalism. And Capitalism is what drives America. Activists hate Wal-Mart because it's the proxy for America, it represents success. I would love to protest activists, but it's impossible to find out where and what they do in order to protest them."
In fact, Wal-Mart employees are protesting what they feel is retaliation against speaking out for better pay, fair schedules, and affordable health care, according to the union backed group OUR Wal-Mart.
If Gutfeld had to work under the pay and conditions of a Wal-Mart employee, he might sing a different tune.
They’re not even subtle about it- You see them kissing the retailer’s ass for five minutes, then it runs the ad right before going to commercial.
Guess it’s time, once more, to remind Gutfilled that Soros is no Koch Brother:

“By the way, shopping is the exercise in the gym that is capitalism.”
Hm — I guess that explains the nation’s high obesity rate . . .
“Activists hate Wal-Mart because it’s the proxy for America, it represents success.”
Wal-Mart a “proxy for America?”
- imports cheap goods from China
- undercuts smaller businesses
- doesn’t care about wage workers
I guess Gutfilled’s right . . .
