I think we can count on radio talk show host Mark Levin not being quite the Fox News regular he was supposed to be. At least not after his rant against "elitist" Dana Perino on the air yesterday. Perino's "crime?" Saying that Dr. Benjamin Carson doesn't do himself any favors by going on the air so much.
Levin called Perino "pathetic." He said, "I am sick of the preening, elitist, country club Republicans who don't have a clue." As if Levin is just some working-class stiff. Hardly.
In his whiny, nasally voice, Levin said, "I don't know what she has done for this country other than serve as a spokesman for a president." So what has Levin done? He said, "I've spent my career litigating against the left." Translation: I talk tough but I never put my well-paid fanny on the line.
I don't always appreciate what Perino says but she's always polite and ladylike. Levin, on the other hand, can't seem to open his mouth without hate mongering. This clip, via Mediaite, is a good example.
Mark Levin Attacks Fox's Dana Perino: 'I'm Sick Of The Preening, Elitist, Country Club Republicans!'
On his radio show Tuesday night, Mark Levin went after "preening, elitist, country club Republican" Dana Perino for her assertion on Fox's The Five that Dr. Ben Carson may have hurt his credibility by appearing on too many conservative talk radio shows like Levin's.
When Carson created media buzz after the National Prayer Breakfast, Hannocchio demanded-from his staff-to book Carson on his shows. Hannocchio and the rest of his kind only care about their ratings. They are milking Carson’s 15 minutes of fame until the milk runs dry. Then they will toss him aside and hunt for a new controversial figure. They did the same routine with Palin until her popularity dwindle, the Fox “News” frauds gave her the boot.
Carson does not realize that he is being used by the conservative talkers for ratings purposes. Then again, Carson maybe using them for free public relations purposes.
That’s how conservatives operate.
Actually, it was the National Prayer Breakfast — a nonpolitical event, no less — that Dr. Carson first entered the spotlight.
Because he made a mild criticism of the POTUS at a public event, is accomplished and well-spoken, and happens to be black, Fox has been enamored of him ever since — and, as Levin demonstrated, will defend him to the death against the slightest criticism . . . until he says something they don’t like, at which time he’ll be thrown under the bus, a la Herman Cain.
.
Coming down the pipe:
1. Will Eric Bolling defend Dana Perino’s honor by calling the Groucho Marx imitator “a jerk” on The Five?
2. Will Dana Perino call Grouch “a Jerk” on The Five?
Stay tuned!
NOTE TO PERINO
Don’t bother asking Hannity to defend you. He’s best friends with Levin.
On another note: Shouldn’t one need to have a pleasant voice (at the least) to get a radio gig? I hear Levin, Ingraham, or Monica Crowley and I want to run away as fast as possible.
