GOP Civil War: Mark Levin Attacks Dana Perino Over Dr. Ben Carson

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on April 04, 2013 · Flag

I think we can count on radio talk show host Mark Levin not being quite the Fox News regular he was supposed to be. At least not after his rant against "elitist" Dana Perino on the air yesterday. Perino's "crime?" Saying that Dr. Benjamin Carson doesn't do himself any favors by going on the air so much.

Levin called Perino "pathetic." He said, "I am sick of the preening, elitist, country club Republicans who don't have a clue." As if Levin is just some working-class stiff. Hardly.

In his whiny, nasally voice, Levin said, "I don't know what she has done for  this country other than serve as a spokesman for a president." So what has Levin done? He said, "I've spent my career litigating against the left." Translation: I talk tough but I never put my well-paid fanny on the line.

I don't always appreciate what Perino says but she's always polite and ladylike. Levin, on the other hand, can't seem to open his mouth without hate mongering. This clip, via Mediaite, is a good example.

Mark Levin Attacks Fox's Dana Perino: 'I'm Sick Of The Preening, Elitist, Country Club Republicans!'

On his radio show Tuesday night, Mark Levin went after "preening, elitist, country club Republican" Dana Perino for her assertion on Fox's The Five that Dr. Ben Carson may have hurt his credibility by appearing on too many conservative talk radio shows like Levin's.

Mark Levin has done more for this country than Dana Perino ever will. I could go on for days listing ways he has helped the American people. His show gets better ratings than The Five which is the show Perino co-hosts. Mark Levin is a hard worker and a self made man. Just because he is successful doesn’t make him part of the beltway cocktail club like Dana and the Bushies. He hates that stuff. He stands for the regular folk, the average American people who want to live the American dream. Why make fun of his voice? His voice combined with his mind have enabled him to become one of the best radio hosts in the country. You should research what he has accomplished at Landmark Legal. He has put himself on the line for this country on a daily basis for decades. Dana was being disrespectful. Fox News is trying to become more moderate in my opinion. Mark Levin’s audience is pretty much fed up with that network. Dr. Benjamin Carson has been going on numerous shows because he is promoting his book. All authors do that. Haven’t you noticed Dana?

@truman: “Hatemonger Levin is a softer, more feminine version of the Filipina anchor baby Malkin.”

Don’t forget whiter, too . . .

Controversial figures are big ratings draw. High End Hannocchio thrives on interviewing high profile/controversial guests.

When Carson created media buzz after the National Prayer Breakfast, Hannocchio demanded-from his staff-to book Carson on his shows. Hannocchio and the rest of his kind only care about their ratings. They are milking Carson’s 15 minutes of fame until the milk runs dry. Then they will toss him aside and hunt for a new controversial figure. They did the same routine with Palin until her popularity dwindle, the Fox “News” frauds gave her the boot.

Carson does not realize that he is being used by the conservative talkers for ratings purposes. Then again, Carson maybe using them for free public relations purposes.

That’s how conservatives operate.

@ Barbara S: “Perino is right- who ever heard of Carson before CPAC 2013?”

Actually, it was the National Prayer Breakfast — a nonpolitical event, no less — that Dr. Carson first entered the spotlight.

Because he made a mild criticism of the POTUS at a public event, is accomplished and well-spoken, and happens to be black, Fox has been enamored of him ever since — and, as Levin demonstrated, will defend him to the death against the slightest criticism . . . until he says something they don’t like, at which time he’ll be thrown under the bus, a la Herman Cain.

We need to stock up on popcorn. This is getting entertaining by the week. First Billy’s temper tantrum, now Groucho Marx imitator versus Dana Perino. We encourage the masses to tell @danaperino to fight back against Groucho.

Coming down the pipe:

1. Will Eric Bolling defend Dana Perino’s honor by calling the Groucho Marx imitator “a jerk” on The Five?

2. Will Dana Perino call Grouch “a Jerk” on The Five?

Stay tuned!

NOTE TO PERINO

Don’t bother asking Hannity to defend you. He’s best friends with Levin.

levin is such a nurd. His squeally voice and screaming tantrums are enough to make me vomit. I’ve tried listening to this little worm several times, but unlike lars larson, or sean vannity, or rush limpballs – this guy is such a whiny loser. How does he survive?

Perino is right- who ever heard of Carson before CPAC 2013? Now he’s on TV or radio daily. I think he fell in love , just a little, with the idea of running for President. He thought everyone would kowtow like Hannity. I guess he was wrong.

On another note: Shouldn’t one need to have a pleasant voice (at the least) to get a radio gig? I hear Levin, Ingraham, or Monica Crowley and I want to run away as fast as possible.
