Fox Waited 32 Seconds To Start Attacking Debate Questions

Posted by Ellen -7849.80pc on October 17, 2012 · Flag

Think Progress did the math so we didn't have to. It was none other than "objective" Megyn Kelly who started the spin.

Kelly said:

And the questions! 11 questions asked in all, and some of which will certainly be discussed tomorrow. Topics that we haven’t heard much about at all in this campaign — equal pay for women, in fact there were a lot of women’s issues discussed…abortion, contraception, women’s pay, as I mentioned. Some might argue it was obvious pandering to women because the female vote is so important in this election. As separate and apart from equal pay for women, we heard a discussion about assault weapons bans, a question to Mitt Romney about how are you different from President Bush, and then a question to President Obama,"What have you done to earn my vote?' The one question on foreign policy by my count was about Libya, and seemed to cover ground that we already knew the answer to: it was who denied the request for increased security? Well, we heard great testimony about that last week, there were State department officials who answered that question. So there will be some questions about those selections.

Yes, and we know who will be raising those questions endlessly in the week to come.

Kortez, is this gonna be anything like Theola claiming Obama never proposed a budget, then linking us to his proposals a few posts later?

Oh, wait- that requires a desire to present facts. Carry on with your empty rhetoric.

Not sure why anyone would be upset about the president’s performance in the debate were he a Romney supporter. Obama still has no clue how to fix the deficit or solve the unemployment problem, and forget about gas prices. So, why are people crowing about Obama? I am not a Romney supporter, either. You are all living in a dream world.

Note to Megyn

Please let Mitt stand on his own two feet & take responsibility for his life. If you people at Fux Noize keep speaking for him he’ll look like one of those 47%-ers he’s written off.

I went to my adult book store today to rent a DVD of “Women in Binders.” The clerk sent me to the local Mormon church.

“Some might argue it was obvious pandering to women . . .”

“Some might argue” = “some people say” — Fox “News’” most trusted source

Since the questions came partly from undecided voters, it would seem those voters are very concerned about women’s issues. Women’s issues are exactly the issue Republicans base most of their legislation on, so who really doesn’t want to talk about women’s issues? Just Fox, I guess.

Shane: There have been a few debates as to why Obama did so lackluster, ranging from personal issues to even Ann Coulter admitting he looked under the weather. But my point goes to the other factor: Jim Leher.

The left and moderate right were NOT happy with him- aside from his legendary level of incompetence, there were points where it was clear he would have given it to Romney on that question. Even if Romney’s response was throwing doody at him. The conservatives, on the other hand, were estatic. They knew that, even with his performance, Obama would have won on facts with a competent moderator, so that threw them a bone.

Fast forward to last night: Obama’s back in form, Romney’s still the same whiny bullyboy, and Candy Crowley isn’t in the mood to put up with shit from either of them. There were points where you could tell she wanted to tell him to stop wasting everyone’s time with the anectdotes, and she slapped down every attempt to “Leher” her.

Fox News can’t stop bashing her, Fox Nation is churning out hate towards her at a pretty rapid rate. Because she didn’t let Romney push her around. Stewart’s gonna have a field say with this, assuming he doesn’t dedicate all his time to Romney’s comments about women binders and self-deportation tonight.

MagicUnderwear Mitt whined his way through this debate with stale, lie-filled talking points and a look of permanent constipation on his face. No mystery why he lost. But leave it to Megyn “I hate black people” Kelly and Fux Noise to blame the moderator, the audience and anyone else but their flawed candidate.
