Fox News' "Medical A-Team" psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, has come up with another psychoanalysis that just so happens to perfectly dovetail with Republican talking points. This time Dr. Ablow gets "inside the mind of Todd Akin" and concluded that he has committed political rape against the Republican Party.
Just days after Ablow came up with his Republican-friendly conclusions about Vice President Biden's psyche without need for a personal examination, Ablow was able to penetrate the mind of this week's Republican pariah, Rep. Todd Akin - also from afar. Ablow wrote:
This may reveal more about Congressman Akin than that he is ignorant of biology (which he is). It also may reveal a psychological world view that goes something like this: Right is established always through might. The end result justifies the means. And, because the ends of a brutal act may sometimes be as beautiful as a child, it is not up to the person pushing for something to balance the needs of another against his own desires. That is the solitary domain of the person attempting to resist his advances.
The best evidence that Congressman Akin’s statement (about rape) reflects a world view, rather than a misstatement is that he won’t pull out of the Senate race. He doesn’t understand—and may not have the current capacity (read here, empathy and sensitivity) to understand—that his candidacy is an unwanted intrusion on the Republican party; a political rape, if you will. It fails to incorporate the needs of party and country into his life story and goals. And even if his candidacy should bear fruit, and yield him a Senate seat, that result will not justify his persistence and inability to hear the word “no” from his party.
Right to life advocates often usurp the right of a woman’s choice knowing full well (according to demographic projections and actual statistical data) that the babies are predestined in many instances for lives of pain, misery, and bad death where the following events are awaiting them:
must 1) live in poverty and deprivation 2) *go to war and suffer injuries 3) be tortured, imprisoned or murdered; all such calamities are prepared for them by the very same high culture and government bureaucrats who pretend to reaffirm the right of every human being to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that the few who temporarily escape this awful fate must thereafter serve the **killing and torturing machine as snipers, swat members, black operatives, police, military robots,prison guards or civilian homicidal agents assigned to kill or neutralize their fellow citizens; all of such activities paradoxically derive from the current slogan of
RIGHT TO LIFE.
