Fox’s Allen West Likens Donald Trump’s Campaign Restructuring To D-Day

Retired Army Lt. Colonel Allen West thinks Donald Trump’s preparation for a contested convention is “kind of like” a World War II battle.

West is not exactly the sanest tool in the Fox News toolshed. And that’s not including his narrow escape from being court martialed (over the mistreatment of an Iraqi prisoner) when West retired from the Army.

But on Your World, host Neil Cavuto announced that West had “served his country honorably.”

Allen likened the new hires to paratroopers laying preparations for an amphibious assault.

ALLEN: Well, you’ve even seen Governor John Kasich bring on a couple of individuals. …And so everyone is prepared, and it's kind of like before D-Day, you send in the paratroopers to set the conditions for the amphibious assault there on the beaches of Omaha and Utah.

We know the Republican convention could be bitterly contested and fiercely fought. But isn’t it rather over-the-top to compare it to a World War II battle

Watch it below, from the April 7 Your World, and let us know what you think.

Thanks for the insight on your personal thoughts, Lynn.

While you’re here, can you tell us exactly what part of the patriot nearly court-martialed Allen West’s statement that Drumpf’s campaign restructuring and Kasich’s hiring of a few people is comparable to D-Day constitutes “fact”?

What I think is that you’re a liberal Democrat who would find anything wrong with a patriot like Allen West and everything with Fox News, that reports facts, not fiction.

David Lindsay said:

“He’s exactly right!! And we need to send them guns to fight that battle. Make sure that everyone has a gun.”

Yes indeed David — all except “Five Deferment Dick” Cheney.

When, when, WHEN will this poor excuse for a “public figure” go away for good? After one term in Congress, his FL District came to its senses and threw him out. His refusal to concede and allegations of voter fraud would have been laughable had so many gullible Tea Party types not bought into it… and him.

Only on Fox would a disgraced light colonel think that a chickenhawk preparing for a contested political convention is comparable to a WWII battle.

But, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised: Frothy Rick Santorum once exhorted his supporters to buy his campaign bumper stickers by claiming that the act of doing so was “the same as military service in Iraq” — and let’s not forget Daddy Bill O’Reilly’s extensive war reporting experience from his hotel suite . . .

These loons at Fox News are totally dependent in the knowledge that a majority of their viewers believe the chargers against Allen West’ prior to his leaving the military are nothing more than fabricated talking points delivered by the left which confirms how thoroughly brainwashed these tools really are.

In preparation for the convention and in keeping with GOPiggy tradition, Long Dong Donald will deploy his operatives in a military invasion of some randomly selected Muslim nation.
