Even if you think George Zimmerman acted reasonably, there's something shocking about the gleeful response to the death of an unarmed teenager from the Fox Nation readers. Not only that, they seem eager to start a race war. (h/t Bryce D.)

As others have said…not shocked at all by this. Which is really pretty sad. The thing is, circumstances matter nothing to these “people”. You can see the warped thought processes running in these comments. They define every event that occurs primarily in terms of race, and sometimes nothing else. In this case, all they really see is that a non-black shot a black, and they develop their own stories to explain it based on preexisting prejudices. Sickening really. I have the feeling it wouldn’t have mattered if Trayvon was a toddler, they’d find some way to justify Zimmerman’s actions. “Good for Zimmerman, he knew that baby was just gonna grow up to be a thug anyway.” Something to that extent, although with more caps lock and exclamation points.

It’s not specifically the “cretins” at Fox Nation that concerns me, it’s the millions of Americans who do nothing to inform themselves than passively sat in front of a televison seemingly allowing the corporately manipulated media to do their “thinking” for them, not too mention millions of Americans who obviously do not do much thinking by not excercising their civic responsibilities in any form while taking total advantage of the freedom this country allows, which from my perspective is the apathy that has allowed the light of day to shine on the neo-fascist rats as they crawl to and from the sewers of the American political, business, religious, and media communities.

Jeez, Handout Hannocchio is replacing his longtime girlfriend Annie Coulter with another guy, George Zimmerman.
“Impeach” is a ignorant specimen who failed to read and see the coverage of the Chicago violence on tv and print. If he moved his small mind away from Fox “News” and watch another station, he might learn something.

I don’t think about nor worry much the cretins of Fox Nation. They are a segment of society that has always been with us, but now they just have been given their own soapbox. These are sad, smelly creatures that have neither the intelligence nor hygiene necessary to function productively in any society, even the dumbed-down version we have these days here in the US of Average.
The crazier and louder they get, the more those in the middle will begin to nervously shuffle away from them.

Aria, learning requires a thought process, something totally absent in most pseudo-conservatives I know which I perceive to be the root of the growing threat to me, you, and anyryone who continues to believe in everything our country has attempted to represent since it’s founding.

Yet more proof that Fox News (and it’s viewers) simply cannot learn.
