We'll soon be saying "So long" to Fox & Friends' weekend cohost, Anna Kooiman. Her looming departure does not appear to be part of the ongoing housecleaning at Fox News, though.
From Deadline Hollywood:
Kooiman is moving to Australia with her husband, a native of Sydney, who just accepted a new job at Tullet Prebon, said Bill Shine, co-president of the network. She will continue with FNC as a freelance correspondent.
Kooiman was not one of the women to defend Roger Ailes after accusations of sexual harassment started rolling in.
According to Deadline, the show will have a series of rotating cohosts in her spot until a permanent one is named.
Any guesses on who that will be? In a private tweet, Richard suggested Abby Huntsman, which seems plausible to me.
Meanwhile, watch Anna Kooiman help expose the War on Easter, below. from the March 26, 2016 Fox & Friends.
Nothing like breaking free out of the brainless blonde bimbette concentration camp.
I have to wonder about the motives of women defending Ailes. Are they just trying to telegraph to the reputed sexist world of broadcast journalism they’re team players and won’t whine about some male grab-ass? Or did they actually jump onto the casting couch with monster Roger ‘Zipper Down’ Ailes and are trying to deflect attention from his abuse?
One thing is clear. The weekend gig at “Fox & Friends” must not pay much if Anna is playing the traditional role of following her man’s career.
There’s turmoil inside this hideous network, and it won’t be stable until Shine is gone.
