The Daily Show gave Fox’s Trump lapdogs a perfect comedic comeuppance for complaining that media coverage of Biden isn’t tough enough.
Well done, Daily Show. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Do make sure to watch to the end where, for once, Jeanine Pirro gets it exactly right.
Their preparedness reminds me of something I learned long ago about the American and French revolutions, both of which introduced innovative approaches to government that have stood the test of time (the period of terror France, notwithstanding). Namely that the activists of the time had spent decades discussing and working out the practical aspects of what they actually would do were they to succeed in overturning the monarchies. They were ready to rumble as from day 1.
Elsewhere, I read comments that complained about Biden being dull and boring. I don’t mind that one bit, if they are competent. I can always go to the cinema or the TV for not-dull and not-boring.
The perception of what constitutes “respect” or “fawning” depends a lot on who’s being talked about. For a host on Fox(not)News, Trump could do no wrong, ever!, and Biden will never be perceived as doing anything right. IF only they’d be less hypocritical about their double standard.
The new administration has been in office for less than a week and the foxies are acting as though Biden had a magic wand. Bewildering.
