FBN Exploits Iowa Police Killings To Attack Hillary Clinton

Never mind that the suspect arrested for the tragic ambush killings of two Iowa police officers was white. Fox used the incident to trot out one of its nuttier Trump supporters and Hillary haters to resurrect the network’s “war on police” meme and suggest that Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration are too pro-black.

The guest for this thinly-disguised pretext to attack Clinton was Brunell Donald-Kyei, Vice-Chair Of Diversity Outreach, National Diversity Coalition for Trump.

You may recall that not long ago Donald-Kyei misled her way through an appearance on Fox & Friends. To top it off, she said about Clinton supporters:

“We know that Hillary Clinton has taken money from countries that behead women and throw homosexuals off buildings so you’re aiding and abetting in the murder of homosexuals as well as beheading and disrespect of women.”

Fox Business host Elizabeth MacDonald (subbing for Deirdre Bolton) treated Donald-Kyei like a credible expert. MacDonald wasted little time before prompting Donald-Kyei to start attacking Clinton.

MACDONALD: The shooting is making an impact on the presidential race. Hillary Clinton had said, for example, there is implicit bias in law enforcement. However, she just cancelled her get-out-the-vote event in Des Moines, Iowa and this comes after she had campaigned with some mothers whose children were killed by police officers. Hillary Clinton had been talking about the racial divide. Let’s listen.

CLINTON (clip from October 23, 2016): We know we face a continuing problem of systemic racism … W. E. B. Du Bois called racism a basic problem of humanity, of democracy. Those words still ring true today… The issue of systemic racism has come up time and time again and I felt compelled to address it directly.

MACDONALD: Brunell, how do black voters feel about that? You know "systemic racism," implicit bias with our law enforcement? What are the black voters think?

As if this biased Trump supporter speaks for all African-Americans.

Donald-Kyei didn’t quite get the hint. She said, “Most black people respect the police. You have, like I said, bad apples in every profession and you have police officers that do the wrong thing, that are rogue. But I would say that most black people have a great respect for police officers.”

MacDonald interrupted to prod Donald-Kyei to attack Clinton.

MACDONALD: But Hillary Clinton is saying there is systemic racism with police officers.

Donald-Kyei got it now.

DONALD-KYEI: That’s what Hillary Clinton does. She’s a politician. She’s trying to play to the emotions of people. She’s trying to mislead people. And she’s trying to get a vote.

Right, because Trump has not done any of that when he tells people that African-Americans get shot walking to the store.

While MacDonald ignored the double standard, Donald-Kyei came up with a new, offensive smear:

DONALD-KYEI: With Hillary Clinton, she’s trying to get votes. She doesn’t care about police officers.  If she did why would the Fraternal Police Order be endorsing Donald Trump?

They know that the environment that police officers are working in, in fear now, has been created by this Democratic party that did not protect our officers. That did not stand for our officers. And I’m talking about all the good officers, not the bad ones.

In fact, Hillary Clinton tweeted earlier that day that she was "Heartbroken for the families of two brave officers who were killed in Iowa. There’s no justification for this kind of violence. -H"

But MacDonald said “right,” in agreement with Donald-Kyei while she spoke.

Then MacDonald moved on to prod Donald-Kyei to attack the Obama Justice Department. MacDonald complained that the DOJ looks into shootings by officers but not shootings of officers and asked Donald-Kyei what she thought of that.

Donald-Kyei made another ridiculous smear:

DONALD-KYEI: I think it’s because they don’t want to appear that they favor police officers.

… The Department of Justice we know now is very political. We know that Loretta Lynch was, obstructed even Hillary Clinton being, grand jury being convened against Hillary Clinton and so right now our Department of Justice is under a microscope for obstruction of justice as well as being politicized, as opposed to looking at it from the law. Instead of taking care of the nation, they’ve been taking care of Hillary Clintion.

MacDonald offered no push back to that word salad of nonsense. Instead, she gave her seal of approval: “Brunell Donald-Kyei, thank you so much for your time. We really appreciate you coming on the show. Please come back."

JM, that price is now a house in the suburbs, two SUVs in the driveway and a permanent meal ticket at Faux News. I looked it up.

I’d love to see an in-depth report on some of these black Trump, Repugly and Fox enablers – especially in the How Much They Receive In Tainted Money Department.

Be interesting to see how much the price of a soul has gone up since Judas received his 30 pieces of silver.

@ David Lindsay: “I guess Faux forgot to mention the guy who murdered the cops put up a Trump sign in his front yard. I’m sure they just forgot.”

Oh, they didn’t forget; they knew — its just the fact that the guy was 1) white, 2) a Drumpf supporter, and 3) not Muslim, means they couldn’t make hay out of this story like they wanted to, such as the time those five police officers were killed in Dallas back in July . . . Fox reported nonstop on that for about a week.

The very fact this segment is appearing on the Fox “Business” News, as opposed to Hannity or BillO, tells you something . . .

.

JH, Amen to the democrats without a spine. At the old website I hung out at, bartcop, bart said every democrat politician should be forced to learn to play poker. And learn the art of bluffing and spotting a bluff.

And I’ll add on to that. Every democrat politician should have a mean streak in him. To be basically a good person but to have that little touch of evil to make sure things got done.

I guess Faux forgot to mention the guy who murdered the cops put up a Trump sign in his front yard. I’m sure they just forgot.

You can just smell the desperation. At least Ailes had a sense of what angles to take and just how far he could stretch credibility for his admittedly easy-to-delude old codgers. It seems like there is a whirlpool of derp sucking the Faux Brigade down to Weekly World News and World Nut Daily depths.

This time next week the poor dears will be even more confounded and confused.
