We've taken the day off from blogging about Fox News today because we want to focus on this most important message.
We'll be back at the keyboard with our regular blogging late tonight or tomorrow.
Meanwhile, have you voted? What did you see at your polling place? Where are you watching the returns tonight?

I wish John King would analyze my home state of Virginia. But they’re obsessing over Florida and North Carolina since they’re expected to be more key.

How do Johnson or Stein get more than a couple dozen votes in FL?

Pardon me for obsessing over my county but I repeat it’s solidly conservative. A mix of suburban and rural. With 67.11% of the vote in Trump only leads Clinton by 6.89 points. A Republican should do better than that here by an order of magnitude.

The eastern part of Florida polls close in thirty minutes. Western part an hour after that. I expect a big initial jump for Clinton, but it will tighten after that.

Only significant to me but Chesterfield, my home county, is one of early one’s reporting in Virginia. With 16% of precincts in my county reporting it’s blue. For the first time since I moved here 26 years ago. Probably won’t last but I’ll savor the moment anyway. ;^)

Polls closed here in Virginia. Too close to call. Of course. Virginia always slow to call because Republican General Assembly short shrifts Northern Virginia polling places where are the Democrats are so lines typically going strong after 7 PM poll closing.

Florida closes in either 20 minutes or an hour and 20. Conflicting info from kos and NBC. All eyes on Florida.

Yes, I voted in swing state Virginia. About 10th in line when my poll opened at 6 AM. Here’s the proof:
https://twitter.com/eyesonfoxorg/status/796083397957451776
As I mentioned in a previous comment, I’m in the reddest of the red Congressional districts. We famously booted Eric Cantor for Tea Party crackpot Dave Brat. My point here is this is where the rabid Trump supporters should cue up proudly in their Klan hoodies. Yet, turnout here was no better than average. Now my poll is pitiful and small so I don’t want to make wild projections based upon it. But in 2008 the line wound through the parking lot and into the street. 2012 much shorter. Maybe a third of the way down the parking lot. This year? The line didn’t come close to even bleeding off the sidewalk. Doesn’t bode well for Trump.
With one exception, the people I talked to voting in the counties surrounding Richmond (Henrico & my Chesterfield) were light. These suburbs are very dependably red. Later tonight I’ll probably call my girlfriend who lives in Richmond proper to gauge the urban vote.
Key points I’m picking up from MSNBC and CNN:
- Most encouraging a key internal Trump metric shows him losing (CNN).
- Exit polling data isn’t very good for Hillary, IMHO (CNN & MSNBC).
- According to Clinton’s Mook they appear cautiously optimistic (CNN & MSNBC) but their path to victory a bit fuzzy.

Best of luck for a crushing victory (320+) over the Ugliest American, a Senate majority, defeats for Issa, McCain, Chaffetz, MacCrory, Rubio, Ayotte, Kirk, Burr and Toomey.
Note of Caution: As it is Wednesday here already and we abbreviate our dates the sensible way (Day/Month/Year), today is actually 9/11 in New Zealand and most of the rest of the world.

I’m very proud of my 3 millennial children’s eagerness to vote—they all voted early last week—two of them in their first elections ever. They were all interested and engaged in the campaign all the way through.
Despite the awfulness of these months of the presidential campaign, I woke up with great anticipation about this historic vote-this time hopefully for a woman president. I just had to wear my red white and blue today.

I voted early a few weeks ago and I’m going to a watch party tonight via my local Democratic Party HQ. I’m also off to hold signs for Clinton/Kaine either near a polling place or on some street corner.
