Dennis Kucinich Hired As Fox News Contributor

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on January 17, 2013 · Flag

Regular readers know I'm pro Democrats appearing on Fox. But going on the payroll? Not so much. But even before the news came out that Dennis Kucinich joined Fox News as a paid contributor, I've had my concerns about Kucinich's appearances on Fox.

I don't doubt Kucinich's liberal bona fides. But he seems ridiculously blind to or else unconcerned about the ways that Fox uses him to bash Democrats.

For example, in 2005, Fox hosted Kucinich to discuss his proposal to bring home the troops in Iraq - and then immediately smeared him with a banner saying, "Dennis the Menace." Yet, in an appearance on The O'Reilly Factor in 2010, Kucinich made a point of disavowing ObamaCare rather than using his time to aid his party, the Obama administration or even the left-wing faction of the party that Fox is trying to take down. As recently as November 2012, Kucinich sounded like a Republican as he joined the Fox News fixation on demanding answers about Benghazi.

In a statement about Kucinich's hire, FNC Chairman Roger Ailes said:

I've always been impressed with Rep. Kucinich's fearlessness and thoughtfulness about important issues. ...His willingness to take a stand from his point of view makes him a valuable voice in our country's debate.

No doubt.

Politics makes strange bedfellows. A decent paycheck makes for stranger bedfellows.

Sorry Ellen, but I can’t think of one Fox News Democrat that isn’t a “tool” They are top heavy on wingnuts. Not one of the so called " Fox News Democrats" would turn down more money to switch sides. They are being ’Red Shirted" for now.

Though Kucinich tends to appear to tell the truth he is a politician, so I am never going to trust him. Now that he’s on the Fox News payroll, he has to earn every bit of light in that regard.

Sorry, that is as former DEMOCRAT Congressman Dennis Kucinich. Then he will proceed to bash Pres. Obama. While O’Loofah and Klannity have shit-eating grins on their faces.

Truman, you beat me to it. I have a feeling that Kucinich will be the new Pat Caddell on Faux, with a better resume.

And he will be always introduced as former DEMOCRAT

Kuchinich obviously doesn’t mind being used as a token ‘liberal’. His presence there gives them the opportunity to claim they’re fair and balanced. He’s simply whoring himself to the wrong side.

Kuchinich knows that his Fux Noise paycheck is predicated on his regular, continued bashing of his former Democrat colleagues. He will quickly fall into the mold of Wanker Pat Caddell and toe-sucking pervert Dick Morris.

Kuchinich has a well-founded reputation of saying literally anything, if the person who wants him to say it meets his price.

Ailes is desperate for a noted Democrat- So desperate that he forgot about that part. People who were there, remember, people who weren’t didn’t need much to find a strong case that he’s like that.

All I wanna know is what he went for.

Personally I’ve never cared much for Kucinich as a spokesman for our side. He’s always come across as weak and nutty to me.

Also today in case you missed it Fox has re-signed Karl Rove. This new multi-year deal will extend through the 2016 presidential election.

Meanwhile, still no word about Sarah Palin. Her contract ends sometime this month.
