I watched most of the debate, then fell to sleep!
I like a Biden/Klobuchar or Klobuchar/Biden, too, but I’ll strongly support anyone who runs against Trump.

Watched some of the debate. A Biden/Klobuchar ticket would be something I could get behind. Of course I would vote for an Abbott/Costello ticket over Mango Mussolini/Dense Pence.

Pretty much agree with your reaction, Ellen. I had a frustrating time with both Politico’s and PBS’s feeds stopping, starting and crapping out throughout. I’m still for Elizabeth, but I definitely did not like the way she and Amy picked on young Pete. Joe probably did himself the most good, if only for avoiding gaffes. Bernie did OK too, though I think he talks a lot more than he listens. Poor old Tom has poured many millions into worthwhile causes, but his lack of charisma and ‘presence’ is even more obvious in this pered down field.

Overall, my quibbles are minor. I’d be happy for any one of them to replace the monster.

On the other hand, I did not appreciate the intra-candidate attacks. Frankly, the clash between Warren and Buttigieg made me cringe.

I also appreciated the in-depth questions that did not involve the weeds of Medicare for all – unless it was during the few parts I missed.

I have mixed feelings about this debate. On the one hand, I think it benefitted from having fewer candidates, on the other, I wish Cory Booker had made it.
