Corey Lewandowski Does Not Deny Trump Campaign Offices Are Bugged

On Fox News Sunday today, Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was asked about reports that campaign staff offices are bugged. Instead of denying the allegation, Lewandowski waffled.

Host Chris Wallace challenged Lewandowski on a number of subjects, especially on the subject of Trump’s attack on New Mexico’s Latina governor, who is also the chair of the Republican Governors Association, Susana Martinez. Lewandowski laughably spun the attack, in which Trump mockingly threatened to run for governor of New Mexico, himself, as policy criticism:

LEWANDOWSKI:  Well, Chris, what you have here is there’s no attack on a Latino or a woman governor. What this was, was laying out the economic perspective of what the state of New Mexico was doing. He’s saying we need to do a better job. That’s what our country needs, is we need to create jobs, we need to have more people back to work, we need to build a wall, we need to stop illegal immigration.

These are things that are said everywhere we go.  And so, you know, if Donald Trump is winning with Latinos, if you look at the last poll, he’s winning with Hispanics.  If you look at the polls, he’s doing very well with woman. He has a much more—

Wallace did not let Lewandowski get away with his BS:

WALLACE:  But, Corey, wait, he’s not winning with women and he’s not winning with Hispanics.  His numbers are hugely underwater with both.

And on the specific question of this, he didn’t just say, "Well, gee, things could be better in New Mexico." He said, I’m looking at the quote here, “she,” the governor, “is not doing the job.” He is going to go around the country saying that the Republican governors in various states are not doing the job?

Not surprisingly, Lewandowski stood by Trump's comments.

But the most interesting exchange came at the end. Wallace referenced a New York Times report about troubles among Trump’s campaign staff that included this:

“A sense of paranoia is growing among his campaign staff members, including some who have told associates they believe that their Trump Tower offices in New York may be bugged, according to three people briefed on the conversations.”

Lewandowski dismissed the entire article as “media hype” and insisted that the team is “very cohesisve.”

And then there was this:

WALLACE:  And in 10 seconds, is there any bugging going on at the Trump Tower?

LEWANDOWSKI: I think that’s a lot of speculation.  I don’t think that’s the case at all.  And I think we’re happy with how our offices are set up.

That is no outright denial. If I were a Trump campaign worker, I’d be very careful about what I say.

Watch it below, from the May 29 Fox News Sunday.

Lewandowski is Trumpbot programmed to say what his boss tells him. Trumpster tells him when to sleep, when to wake, and when to eat.

Eyes, Pierson would have a complete meltdown if someone called her a mulatto.

PERSONAL NOTE TO KATRINA PIERSON

Protecting the massa’s house, we see. Next, Trumpster will put an image of your dad as a black lawn jockey in front of his properties.

Not to spam the thread but just stumbled upon this nugget related to my previous comment regarding a—hole Katrina Pierson. It seems even though the judge is an American citizen he’s still a “Mexican” in her and her boss, Der Furor’s, eyes:

“‘He’s American’: CNN host rips Katrina Pierson for ‘Mexican’ racial attack on Trump U judge”

Der Furor’s Hispanic outreach message: Once a ‘Mexican’, always a ‘Mexican’.

Browsing the news – obviously I’m not watching FOX since I’m reading actual news – I’m reminded of this other recent example of Der Furor Hispanic outreach. Thin-skinned, #WhinyLittleBitch Trump raged against a judge who had the audacity to rule in favor of forcing a document dump regarding his Trump University scam:

“I think Judge Curiel should be ashamed of himself. I think it’s a disgrace that he’s doing this.” Trump brought up Curiel’s ethnicity: “*The judge, who happens to be, we believe, Mexican*…I think the Mexicans are going to end up loving Donald Trump.”

Yes, America, the Republican Party has turned full bigot to support Trump. We expected this after the civil rights legislation of the ’60s. Sad to say 50 years later the dog (or elephant) is returning to its own vomit.

Der Furor surrounds himself with angry a—holes like Corey Lewandowski and Katrina Pierson. So I think we all know what #WhinyLittleBitch and notorious bully The Donald is made of.

Speaking of being a #WhinyLittleBitch, looking past Lewandowski’s obvious lie, Trump raging against Susana Martinez is his typical ego explosion following his thin skin getting penetrated by any criticism. No slight is too small for a Der Furor eruption.

Her sin in Der Furor’s eyes? She’s not impressed by his bigotry. So sad, too bad. Per the Washington Post: “She told the crowd of about 60 wealthy GOP backers that, as a Latina, she was offended by Trump’s language about immigrants. Noting her years working as a prosecutor on the Mexican border and now as a border-state governor, Martinez said Trump’s plan to build a wall and force Mexico to pay for it was unrealistic and irresponsible, according to multiple people in attendance.”

If Martinez had complemented Trump as being the most talented demagogue she’d ever met he’d be saying New Mexico under her governorship is all unicorns and lollipops.

That’s just one more reason Drumpf should not be allowed in the White House: wiretapping and/or bugging illegally.

I mean, could you imagine if a republican US president were to order something like that? Who knows what they might do next — they might create a “dirty tricks squad” called the “plumbers” that conducts break-ins of the offices of their political opponents . . . or publicly out a covert CIA agent as political retribution . . .

I mean, I’m not saying any repub presidents have actually DONE so, of course; I’m just being hypothetical — you know?

Wow. Bugging offices. That’s taking micro-management to a new level. Who would want to work for someone like that?
