Chris Wallace Offers Suggestion To Romney Campaign

Posted by Ellen -7842.60pc on April 16, 2012 · Flag

In the middle of his interview with Romney advisor Ed Gillespie, yesterday, Chris Wallace threw out a suggestion to the campaign in the form of a question. "Is there any thought to naming that running mate early, not waiting until the week before the convention, to give Romney some help on the trail on campaigning and fundraising?"

Gillespie said that rumor was not accurate. The discussion about the vice presidential pick starts at about 8:10 in the video below.

Chris Wallace insisted to Obama advisor David Axelrod yesterday that his subsequent interview with Gillespie was going to be fair and balanced - and if you don't ccount this little hint by way of a question, I'd agree. But it's a good thing FoxNews.com didn't make the same promise. They called the Axelrod interview, Is President Obama Vulnerable? and the Gillespie interview, Ed Gillespie talks general election strategy.

The Repug teabaggers don’t trust Mittens. They will demand that he prove himself by selecting a suitable wingnut as VP. McDepends caved in to their demands. Will Mittens?

No, Chrissy — naming Nikki Haley {aka Sarah Palin v2.0} as Mittens’ running mate early will not help . . .
