Chris Stirewalt's attempt to shift blame for the Flint, Michigan water crisis away from Republican Governor Rick Snyder and onto the residents and President Obama may not be working. But maybe Stirewalt can take comfort in the fact that his ploy won recognition as our most Outrageous Quote of the Week last week.

In case you missed it, Stirewalt's "winning quote" was:

“If you were pouring water into a cup for your child and it stunk and it smelled like sulfur and was rotten, would you give that to your child? No. You’d revolt. You’d march in the street. You know, we’ve had a lot of demonstrations of late in the United States. …The people of Flint should have been protesting in the streets.”

Stirewalt received 49 of the 213 votes cast, narrowly beating out Andrea Tantaros for calling 13 Hours moviegoers who vote for Hillary Clinton "criminals."
