Cavuto Hearts Kasich’s Fetish For “Judeo-Christian” Cutting

Posted by Brian -4pc on April 04, 2012 · Flag

Neil Cavuto spoke with Ohio Governor John Kasich to talk about tax cuts, energy policy, Vice Presidential possibilities, and other issues earlier this week (4/2/12). Kasich may be deeply unpopular among his constituents but not on Fox! It was a softball interview from the get go. But Governor Kasich’s last statements, about six or seven minutes into the interview, about the need to “modernize” entitlements and “fix” public education really wowed Cavuto.

What may have appealed to Cavuto is how Kasich packaged what was really an effort to reduce spending, wrapped up in sympathetic sentiments:

“I think what’s happening in our country is that people are increasingly too concerned about themselves, and not concerned about other people. There’s three things I think need to happen in America. One is, we’ve got to fix the education system because our kids are not getting the level of education they need to be competitive in the world.

Number two, we need to modernize our entitlement programs so that they look like programs of the 21st century, not of the middle of the 20th century. And, finally Neil, I think we need a re-energizing of the Jewish and Christian principles which is this. Life is not all just about you, it’s about other people as well, and if you can convince people of that, you can spur them to action because I tell ya - our children are going to pay a high price for the intransigence and the partisanship and the unwillingness to get together, and it’s got to get done, and it’ll either get done now or it’ll get done later in a more painful way, and I don’t like to see that.”

The interview drew to a close in a love fest in which Cavuto sounded like he was ready to sign up and work for a “Kasich in 2016” presidential campaign. With open admiration, Cavuto said, “That is very well put, Governor. You don’t have to be a Democrat or Republican just to take an appreciation of that point of view. Governor, always good seeing you, continued good health, good luck.”

Kasich returned the love. “Neil, you are the best.”

The next time that Kneel and Kasich want to have a lovefest, let’s hope they have the decency to get a room.

Fux Nuze Sez

The Bank Bailout wuz just the beginning. Increasing oil prices via Wall Street Speculators is icing on the cake. Wrecking all forms of organized labor is sprinkles on the icing. A GOPtard POTUS is undeniably the only guy to slice and deal that cake!
