With gentle barbs and humor - but no finger pointing or shouting - Bill Moyers did a devastating take down of Bill O'Reilly's attack on him as "the poster child for the federal deficit." After highlighting many of O'Reilly's falsehoods and mistakes, Moyers invited him for "a civil conversation about our differences. No editing. No tricks. I'll even introduce him to our fact checkers, some of the best in the world. We use them, too."
Moyers concluded with "one word of warning: Big Bird’s a friend of mine. And we public television types stick together, like birds of a feather. Besides, he’s bigger than both of us."
Moyers said this is just the latest of many invitations that Moyers has extended to O'Reilly.
