It’s as predictable as sunrise and sunset. First comes the SOTU speech, then come the responders, then comes Keith Ablow with his smear-job disguised as psychoanalysis. Today was no exception. In an op-ed on foxnews.com, Ablow took us “Inside Obama’s Mind at the State of the Union Address.” And what’s in Obama’s mind? The same as it's been before. The trauma of having been abandoned as a child, which left him both hungry for power and anxious to coddle us all into a state of spineless dependency.
“Having been abandoned as a boy by his father, and then his mother, only to then learn that his grandmother feared people of his race, he seems inherently to distrust individual initiative and intention and to place his trust only in the collective—i.e. the state. When a child’s guardians keep letting him down in profound ways, that child can grow up to want a lot of power himself and distrust the idea of giving anyone else very much." That’s why he wants to stick it to the rich: “Because, you see, wealth really does confer power on those who amass it, and giving that kind of authority to individuals, rather than the collective, is anathema to the President.”.
More than that, gentle reader: Obama doesn’t want people to think they can take care of themselves and make their own decisions. Which is why he wants to take away your guns, because guns “.. happen to empower tens of millions of American individuals, …They promote in individuals the idea that they can take care of themselves and make their own decisions...” Which Obama obviously doesn't want. He'd rather Entitlement Nation care for you as he wished someone would have cared for him when he was a poor little abandoned boy.
I wish I could see inside Ablow’s mind. Did some childhood trauma lead him to prostitute the healing arts to score political points? Do you think?
Psychopath Murdoch wants everyone reduced to penury while he moves into the 0.1% bracket!
Start with Billy’s troubles with women, followed by Nixon-trainee Roger Ailes’ private table manners, and High End Hannocchio’s secret fetishes.
I’ve been wondering the same thing — or, failing that, isn’t it past time for the White House itself to issue a cease and desist order to both Fox and Ablowme to stop issuing medical opinions on the state of mind of someone they’ve never examined? At the very least, that smacks of slander . . .
When a former WH physician publicly expressed concern for NJ Gov. Chris Christie’s weight, Christie angrily told her to “shut up” — twice (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/doctor-told-shut-christie-angry-phone-call-guv-article-1.1259063) . . . someone in the WH needs to say the same to Ablowme.
.
What a fucked up world…teachers get fired for things they say on Facebook (or in porn movies!) but a total asshole like Ablow can go on television and spew stuff he grabbed from his ass.
Did they mention his comment about Jim Langevin being crippled by a gun because he “has shit for brains”? Or his laughing at how Gabby Giffords talks?
How about his insistences that people lied about his record of threats? Or his soapbox about guns?
No?
How about doing him first, Ablow?
