We can add Bernard Kerik to the list of names for whom Fox News played a conspicuous role in securing a pardon. Ironically, yesterday's pardon occurred a day after Kerik complained on Fox’s Tucker Carlson Tonight show that criminals in New York should receive harsher treatment.

The long Fox News campaign of Rod Blagojevich’s wife urging Donald Trump to pardon her husband finally paid off for the couple today. “Seemed like a very nice person, don’t know him,” Trump said about the guy whose sentence he commuted today, “I watched his wife on television.”

Fox & Friends trotted out D-list actor Antonio Sabato, Jr., the guy who once said President Barack Obama should be sent to Guantanamo Bay, as an expert on violence against Republicans in a discussion that completely ignored violence against Democrats or liberals.

It's been quite a week and you know that means it’s been quite a week on Fox News. This week’s poll includes quotes related to William Barr and Department of Justice, as you’d probably guess, but Fox is still working to kill Social Security, Obamacare and any media that doesn’t serve as a Trump support group. Fox host Sandra Smith was eager to talk about Pete Buttigieg’s same-sex marriage “because he has received a lot of criticism” but when Democratic contributor Jessica Tarlov pointed out that Donald Trump cheated on all three of his wives, Smith interrupted to say, “Let’s not bring in personal relationships.”

Even by Fox News propaganda standards, the slobbering by the three Fox & Friends cohosts over Donald Trump’s appearance at the Daytona 500 yesterday reached new levels of nauseating. You’d think Trump had just invented a cure for the Coronavirus.

Whatever else you may think of Pete Buttigieg, you have to admire how he took the bullies by the horns when the Democratic presidential candidate was asked on Fox News about right-wing smears of his sexuality.

There’s no knowing what Larry Kudlow ingested before appearing on Fox News’ Watters World show last night but whatever it was rendered him almost incomprehensible.
