Michelle Malkin Calls Robert Redford And Susan Sarandon ‘Human Emetics’
Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin are very upset about the latest Robert Redford movie which is, essentially, a thriller involving former 60s radicals who have been living more or less normal lives for decades. Time describes the movie, The Company You Keep, as a film for "thoughtful adults" that "look(s) for psychological ambiguities within a First Amendment sympathy for the rights of those whose ideals may have led them to do wrong." But to Hannity - who has probably never been described as a thoughtful adult - this fictional film is “a tribute to the Weather Underground.”

Jim Carrey had some choice words for Fox News after it spent much of this week smearing him over his Funny or Die video mocking the NRA and Charlton Heston. Warning: Some of it may not be safe for work in that he switched the "o" in "Fox" for a "u." But here's an excerpt: In my opinion F** News is a last resort for kinda-sorta-almost-journalists whose options have been severely limited by their extreme and intolerant views; a media colostomy bag that has begun to burst at the seams and should be emptied before it becomes a public health issue.

The gang on the curvy couch of Fox & Friends are quite upset that the silly sequestration has resulted in the cancellation of White House tours which, they contend, cost far less than other wasteful programs being funded by this wasteful administration. Obviously, there are many programs that they could have cited, this morning, as examples of government excess. Yet, they selected funding for Planned Parenthood sex education, specifically in the western states. And they didn't confine their comments to just funding, the source for which was not identified. They whined about the"graphic" nature of the sex-ed which, supposedly, starts at the age of five. As Planned Parenthood sex-ed programs are the targets for the anti-abortion movement, I did a little research to find the source for this information. Turns out that it was taken from an article by the director of the radical American Life League, Paul E Rondeau. There should be no question about whether Fox News is the media arm for those who are fighting a real war on women!
Read moreDr. Carson In Trouble With His Comments About Gay Marriage
Ruh-Roh! Fox's anointed GOP savior, Dr. Ben Carson, is in a bit of hot water over the comments he made on the Hannity show a few nights ago. Specifically, Carson called marriage between a man and a woman "a well-established pillar of society" and added, "And no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality - doesn't matter what they are - they don't get to change the definition." Not only did Carson offend a lot of people, some Johns Hopkins University medical students have called for him to withdraw as commencement speaker.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Validates Texas Mom's Outrage Over TX Curriculum
When culture war issues are inseminated on official Fox "opinion" programming, they ultimately are gestated on official Fox "news" shows. Such was the case, on Monday, when alleged Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly, provided more support for the Texas mom who is outraged over a truly, treasonous Texas curriculum that OMG suggests that terrorism, on American soil, stems partly from reactions to American foreign policy. Well them's fighting words, in Texas and on Fox where America can do no wrong. As I reported, Fox & Friends spun the "outrage" into a whole cloth lie by asserting that the "controversial" curriculum blamed America for 9-11. The lie was given even more traction by Megyn Kelly whose show is officially "fair & balanced" Fox News.

Don’t tell me Fox Nation didn’t know what kinds of comments it was going to get when it ran with the headline of a post called, Is The First Lady Turning White House Easter Egg Roll Into ‘Fat Camp’? After all, the comments on Fox Nation are so hate-filled and murderous that we have reported them to the Secret Service numerous times. And sure enough, the death wishes and racism came out. Hours later, they’re still there. Oh, and they’ve received a bunch of “likes.” (H/T Aria)

If there's one thing multimillionaire Hannity loves, it's pretending to be a regular guy and bashing President Obama for living too large. But last night, former Obama advisor Austan Goolsbee smacked it down.
Read moreHow Well Does Fox News Know Ben Carson?
I have a confession, gentle reader. I can snark endlessly about the right-wingers who are fawning all over Dr. Ben Carson; but as for the man himself, I have a lot of trouble disliking him. I also think that when it comes to Dr. Carson, Fox News and their friends are like someone who buys an expensive designer outfit without trying it on first. Some of the things he said during last night’s interview with Greta Van Susteren sounded suspiciously like a Compassionate Conservative – in fact, maybe a bit of an interventionist..? A “we helped you build that” kind of guy…?

Stephen Colbert discussed Bill O'Reilly's evolution on same-sex marriage with a hilarious segment that can't be described in any way that gives it full justice. Let's just say that some of the funniest parts included O'Reilly with a goat.
