Fox anchor Bret Baier’s attempt to trip up Democrat Adam Schiff with James Comey’s testimony didn’t quite go according to plan.

A panel of Fox News pundits agreed that the White House response to James Comey’s very damning testimony about Donald Trump’s behavior around the Russia investigation was dismal. But their concern was not about the disturbing behavior of an American president. No, it was about how the testimony might negatively impact him and his agenda.

Corey Lewandowski came up with a ridiculous excuse for Donald Trump’s “loyalty” demands of James Comey – but Fox’s Tucker Carlson was there to help validate it. It was the kind of BS only a Fox News viewer could believe – and I’m not so sure even they’ll buy it.

Fox host Neil Cavuto gave Donald Trump what was meant as tough love yesterday over his unhinged tweeting. Cavuto suggested Trump should look at the talking-to as “sort of like an intervention because firing off these angry missives and tweets risks your political destruction.”
