In a vicious cycle of Fox News/Donald Trump synergy, Fox’s Sandra Smith helped validate and build on Trump’s tweet calling for jailing Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin which, in turn, seemed to arise from a Fox News discussion hyping their supposed email misdeeds.

Apparently, Fox News Radio’s Kevin Battle ripped his “news” about a proposed South Carolina monument honoring black Confederate soldiers straight from the press release of the Republicans promoting the scheme. Because had Battle done the teensiest bit of research or fact checking, he probably would have discovered that South Carolina prohibited blacks from serving.

California became the country’s first sanctuary state yesterday. And since that is a direct rebuke to Donald Trump and his anti-immigration stances, naturally Fox hosted acting ICE Director Thomas Homan to threaten the state and falsely fear monger that residents are now in greater danger.

While most people probably don’t care if Debra Messing’s son sits or stands during the national anthem, Fox & Friends was oh-so offended, they branded it as un-American. While they were at it, the show smeared other forms of liberal protest – while demanding “great defenses” for conservative free speech.
