You can always count on Greg Gutfeld to keep it one step away from potty humor during his Fox News “punditry.”

After fear mongering for years about voter fraud, Fox News has suddenly gone virtually TV silent now that authorities seem to have uncovered a real case of election fraud. Coincidentally, the likely culprit is a Republican.

Sean Hannity was so eager to use the death of George H.W. Bush to smear Democrats and the non-Trump-worshipping media, that he swept up former Bush staffer Anita McBride in his accusations of hypocrisy – and wound up proving his own disingenuousness.

After a hiatus due to my itinerancy, the Outrageous Fox Quote of the Week poll has returned. Of course, Fox News outrageousness never takes a holiday. But let’s reach back in time to commemorate Greg Gutfeld’s truly classless attack on John Kerry as the winner of our last poll. Then check out the outrageousness from last week after the jump.

I’m all for fond remembrances of former President George H.W. Bush in the wake of his recent death. But to erase Bush’s embrace of the Willie Horton ad, his nomination of Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court and his role in Iran-Contra, to name a few of the less than wonderful parts of his record, is to erase significant parts of the man’s life and the person that he was.

When it comes to school shootings, Fox News doesn’t want anyone holding guns responsible. But after a few middle school kids in Florida got (not seriously) sick from marijuana edibles, Fox & Friends engaged in a bout of reefer madness.

Although Fox News describes Howard Kurtz as a veteran media reporter, Kurtz’ “reporting” on Fox & Friends’ pre-scripted interviews with then-EPA head Scott Pruitt showed either stunning incompetence or a willing avoidance of the facts.

One reason Sean Hannity may be so hell-bent on undermining the Russia investigation and protecting Donald Trump no matter how horribly he betrays the U.S. is because when the Russia investigation heats up, Hannity tends to lose his ratings dominance.

Fox News correspondent Kevin Corke credulously reported Donald Trump’s new and comms-shop refashioned “respect” for former President George H.W. Bush in the wake of his death last night.

The Washington Post’s Margaret Sullivan got only silence when she tried to determine the ethics policy Fox News execs keep insisting has been breached with incidents such as Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro joining a Trump campaign rally and Fox & Friends pre-scripting Scott Pruitt interviews.
