A Compendium Of Bill O'Reilly's "Lies, Distortions, & Right Wing Buffoonery"

Bill O'Reilly recently interviewed Professor of Politics at Occidental College, Peter Dreier, in order to discuss his charge that O'Reilly traffics in "right wing buffoonery." O'Reilly denied Dreier's previous charge that he had unfairly criticized Social Security and accused Dreier of not backing up his claim, making him look "intellectually deficient," and - wait for it - "perpetuating propaganda." When you've finished ROFLMAOing, check out Dreier's list, on Huffington Post, of some of Bill's "lies, distortions, and right wing buffoonery" which includes Bill's criticism of Social Security as something "close" to a Ponzi scheme. You might want to make of a copy of this for those family, holiday (ewww, my bad) dinners when your bombastic, right wing relative starts bloviating about the lies and distortions being promulgated by the buffoonish Bill!

The thing is his lying is nothing new. Unfortunately, people still want to believe whatever comes out of his mouth. He just screams and plays victim when he is caught and people won’t take the time to see or check his “facts”

Bravo, Professor Dreier – your list was spot on (and I bet that NHs could add even more). BOR is so full of himself that he is incapable of seeing the ugly truths regarding his own intellectual dishonesty. Instead, he resorts to bogus denials (like he did regarding Social Security) and a disparaging comment regarding the Professor’s supposed deficiencies.

But then, that’s how bully boy BOR operates – he lashes back at legit criticism with petulant, belittling remarks (said with “all due respect”, I’m sure – LOL!). He has spent so much time carefully constructing this “fair & balanced” facade of his, that if he were to concede that he has indeed resorted to right-wing buffoonery, his little “f&b” empire could come tumbling down around him.

Btw, that loud, booming noise you heard was BOR’s huge ego exploding with outrage when he heard that the Professor has pushed back with factual evidence (and detailed from MM to boot!). How dare you show BOR to be a liar and right-wing buffoon, Professor! LOL! It’s going to be fun watching BOR try to spin his way out of this one.
