Fox Nation MLK Thread Generates Racist Comments

Fox Nation, a blog for those "opposed to intolerance," is obviously an apartheid state inhabited by those who have no qualms about flaunting their bigotry and ignorance. When right wingers whine about being accused of racism, they have only to check out the comments on a Fox Nation thread which commemorates a man who lead a movement in which people, both black and white, were brutalized and killed in the struggle to secure civil rights for Americans whose suffering did not end with emancipation. In reading the Fox Nation comments, it's readily apparent that Martin Luther King, Jr's goal of creating a nation where all people would be respected, regardless of the color of their skin, is a long way from happening.

Wonder how long it will take for this thread to be shut down?

Well, what did we expect would happen? Those people are ignorant, stupid and scared. (I’m also guessing fat, ugly and tooth-challenged, but in honor of MLK, I’m not going to speculate.)
They’re scared because they are slowly and VERY painfully beginning to realize that Obama will win in 2012.
I was listening to some recounting of some the hardships and hatred to which anyone who was part of Dr. King’s movement were subjected. Judging by those comments above from Fox Nation, the intensity of the racial hatred has not diminished. The difference is that now it’s just not as loud. In 10-15 years when these morons have passed on, it will barely be a whisper.

As I said elsewhere… the right like to use claims like “Lincoln was a Republican!” to claim all the bigotry and racism is on the left.

Let’s review:

We have our first black president, the right immediately refused to support him or give him one iota of the respect warranted by the office.

They also want to revoke the rights of gays, legal immigrants and certain rights of women and have even gone as far as to only let people who promised to do so run for president.

Not to mention that Christianity apparently the only religion they believe should be legal. All other religions can only exist with their permission.

They think corporations should be considered people, but that the poor are “parasites who should be left to die.”

Yeah, it’s all on the side you oppose, guys! Not saying there’s none on the left, but I can dig up 200 Fox Nation racists for every one they can dig up at Huffpo or Daily Kos. Just sayin’

I’m convinced that the only reason FN only puts articles like this one up at all is to give their readers the opportunity to post racist comments. Love the headline on this one, though:“Salute: MLK Jr.” That’s quite a salute. There are currently 2 articles there about the First Lady with vicious comments.
