So true, Truman and John McKee.
My impression of the whole week of McCain-organised events is that he deliberately resorted to shock treatment in an attempt to convince Republicans that they are on a road towards a very un-American place. The whole idea of balance of powers was to keep politicians on their game but the new breed of republican decided to block anything and everything that “the other side” could propose. Had Jesus returned to the USA during Obama’s presidency, they would have refused to allocate the funds for a welcoming party. Instead of focusing on law-making, Republican politicians fell into the trap of doing nothing rather than work with the other party. McCain could not have said it louder: THAT’S NOT WHAT THE FOUNDING FATHERS WANTED !!!!!!

Miss that man. Hearing him speak again rubs salt into the wound.
