@Visitor 55 and Mlp!: Spot on.

@Kathleen: how NOT to win friends and INFLUENCE people = enter their territory and start lecturing at them.

The channels I’ve watched call it pretty much of a draw and those you refer us to do NOT say that anybody won (except for CBS and I’m sure they’re trying to find out how that happened. During an interview on StudioB yesterday, the one cheering happily was the Republican but I see nothing wrong with that. Why should I? Or you?
The Democrat (a lady to whom the republican was sardonically disdainful, IMO) said that Biden had energised the base. Shucks, I recall that as being what the talking heads on Fox have been saying over and over again since last week. Goose and gander, not a matter for sanctimonious outrage.

Oh dear, I do believe I just lectured the new gal on the block.

“Has no one watched anything other than Fox to know that nearly every news outlet both in the U.S. & elsewhere are not quite so enchanted with Biden as you are?”

I know this may be difficult for Kathleen and her fellow righties to understand, but here goes…

Unlike you righties, we e-vile libruls do not depend on any news outlets to form our opinions for us. We watch and listen, and we form our own opinions. We think for ourselves. I realize that after years of allowing idiots like Lardass Limpballs, kkklannity, batshitcrazy beckkk and others to think for you, this may be a hard concept for you to grasp.

Ryan wasn’t bad, rather plain. Still, good enough to beat crazy Joe

You’re absolutely right…we denizens of Newshounds live in caves, and get ALL our news from MSNBC, Dailykos, and, of course, Newshounds. And since we are all largely unemployed (supported solely by George Soros) we should have plenty of time to broaden our horizons. However, because of the recreational drugs we use, maybe not that much ‘coherent’ time.
But, hey, thanks for your concern, Kathleen! Maybe some day we’ll all learn to think in such a rational, unbiased and humanitarian manner such as yours!
And, then, maybe not……..

I’m not an advocoate of polls, but when CNN produces something favorable to Republicans it’s newsworthy.

@visitor55. You are absolutely correct. I just completed a brief visit to the Fux Noise and Fux Nation toxic websites. Not one peep on either about Lying Ryan and his budget bullshit. But lots of contempt for VP Joe Biden for laughing at Lying Ryan. This all from a faux news organization that devotes itself 24/7 to sliming our President as a Muslim, socialist, foreign-born traitor.

Has no one watched anything other than Fox to know that nearly every news outlet both in the U.S. & elsewhere are not quite so enchanted with Biden as you are? (A small sampling: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-19920438, or here http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/12/vice-presidential-debate-polls-results_n_1960147.html?utm_hp_ref=@pollster)

At best, news agencies are calling it a draw on substance, and a clear loss for Biden given his immature, churlish & goofy behavior.

Too, the Fact Check agencies are calling both men’s claims on various subjects into question. Seems “spin” is not a condition relegated to any one news outlet or politician.

Yep, Biden won hands down. He smacked the shit out of Lyin Ryan. But the FoxGOPTV pukes won’t let their mindless sheep believe that Biden won. Instead they’ll concentrate on his “smirks” and ignore Lyin Ryan’s many many lies.

Biden won hands down. He destroyed Ryan on facts, especially on Middle East issues.

Jeez – how long has Juan Williams been on Hannity’s republican rehab show? He looks as if he would rather take his bag and go home.

We won’t know who really won the debate until Frank Luntz handpicks one of his bogus focus groups.

Chris Wallace said that Biden’s grins/laughs were the most disrespectable thing he’s seen in all the years of debates that he’s watched (I guess Chris didn’t hear Romney call Obama a liar in last week’s debate?). Krauthammer said that if you listened to Biden you would think he had won but if you watched him that his grins, etc. actually caused him to lose. Hannity said he can’t wait until he gets back to the studio to montage Biden’s facial expressions. He said that he thinks that Biden’s face will be the “big story” coming out of the debate. The big story? Are you freakin’ kidding me?!

Gawd, this is what’s so wrong with FOX “news” and so much of our other media outlets. It shouldn’t be about who smirked, who “looked good”, who interrupted more and all this other shallow bullsh!t. It should be about the facts, consistency, issue positions, etc. – you know, stuff that actually matters! But, noooo, they instead get caught up in the unimportant, superficial crap and push it as if it actually matters.

Btw, I see that no matter how much Martha tried, Ryan would not give us the details of their plan to make the math work. Nah, instead we got the standard, evasive line that we’ll work all that out with Congress after we get elected. Pfffft.

And just as I’m getting ready to post this, Hannity once again said that he has a “funny feeling that in the next few days” Biden’s rude tone and mannerisms “will be the story of this debate”. Yeah, if Hannity and those of his ilk have their way, that’s exactly what will happen. Geez.

Here comes Palin. She’s sure to be insightful… not!

Surprised Hannity hasn’t painted Obama as a racist yet.

Here’s an anomaly: When I returned home from the bar, I could not watch the Fox news. It is NOT included in my basic DISH plan. MSNBC, however, is.
If I can, I’ll report the local network spin later.

Hahaha, Frank Luntz’ focus group seems to think Biden won.

VP Biden took names and kicked butt. The first name on his list was Lying Ryan. The second name was MagicUnderwear Mitt.

Let’s hope that our President took a few notes and can keep the momentum going on Tuesday.

Apparently, personal responsibility isn’t for Afghans either. Since Ryan insists that we keep our troops over there. I wanted the mod to ask him exactly how we get out of there if we can’t withdraw our troops gradually.
