Actress Stacey Dash put on her sexual-assault-expert hat yesterday to weigh in on University of Virginia sorority members who have been told by their national chapters to avoid fraternity parties this weekend.
Dash, one of the co-hosts on Outnumbered, called that ridiculous. However, her reasoning may well have been more ridiculous.
DASH: The other bad girls, bad women, are the ones who like to be naughty – might go out and play and get hurt and then - you know, but the other thing about this is that it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who overdrinks. So, you know, it’s like the same thing with guns. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Alcohol doesn’t get you drunk, you get yourself drunk.
Co-host Andrea Tantaros closed by saying that if some ladies can’t handle themselves at a frat party, “then they’re a bunch of babies who need to be kept away from liquor.”
This was shortly after Dash had been presented as some kind of expert to discuss the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl/Taliban prisoner swap.
