CultureMap Houston said it, not us, in a story whose headline described the upcoming NRA convention there as "Fox News Heaven." Indeed, the lineup is filled with Fox hosts, Fox contributors and regular Fox guests, plus a few Fox alumni such as Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. Also attending will be Ted Nugent, the guy whose "hate-filled rhetoric" who would be denounced 24/7 on the "fair and balanced" network if he were talking about killing conservatives instead of Democrats and liberals.
Here's a partial lineup: Sean Hannity (tickets to see "regular guy" Hannity went for a mere $200-$1000), Oliver North, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Jeanine Pirro, John Bolton and Katie Pavlich.
Media Matters described the event by saying it features "conservative media figures known for violent rhetoric, baseless conspiracies."
Fox News and NRA - there's very little distance between them.
The attendees are predominantly white, male and conservative. Many are already in Houston. We expect some of these men to wear pro-gun, anti-Obama t-shirts.
High End Hannocchio is scheduled to speak at the River Oaks County Club, a ritzy, predominantly white athletics club frequent by the elite and wealthy. They also have a guard gate at the front of the building.
These dowdy broads who organized this horrid luncheon invited Hannocchio to speak. Attendees paid $200 to hear this Long Island Lolito speak-and we use the term “speak” lightly. We rather donate the money to a deserving charity that helps needy families than to this self-serving, full of himself, over-the-hill mouthpiece.
Actor Glenn Beck is one of the keynote speakers at this anti-Obama event. He will draw a bigger crowd than Hannocchio. The Actor is more popular than Hannocchio. If attendees had a choice between Hannocchio and Beck, a majority would choose Beck.

We expect nutty remarks by that crazy Frenchman LaPierre. He will be one of the highlights of the event.
Grab your popcorn. Expect controversy to spill out of the event this weekend.
