Backstabbing Coward Releases ABC Exec's Private Message Blasting Bush

In what has to be one of the nastiest moves in a long time, an unnamed "colleague" of ABC's John Green gave Matt Drudge a copy of a September 30, 2004 PRIVATE blackberry message in which Green made derogatory comments about Bush. Green is an executive producer (not a reporter) and the show he works for is the weekend edition of Good Morning America, a high quality version of the dismal FOX & Friends, whose three hosts were all over this story this morning.

News Hounds Stats for December
Back in October, we changed the way we track our site statistics, & began tracking numbers of subscribers to our weekly digest & number of subscribers to our RSS feed. We now have 3 months' worth of data, but I'm still not convinced they accurately capture much useful information. Nevertheless, for your interest, here are the statistics for the past 3 months. For traditionalists, I've also included the year's summary of the stats we previously tracked. I've also updated the list of other countries where we have readers.

In October, we changed the way we track our site statistics, & began tracking numbers of subscribers to our weekly digest & number of subscribers to our RSS feed. We're still working out what these numbers actually *mean* -- with only 2 months' worth of data, it's too early to draw any conclusions.
