Memo to news anchors everywhere: Moonlighting as a shoplifter is probably not a smart way to pad your income. That would seem to be the lesson for California’s Fox 40 Sabrina Rodriguez who was arrested for stealing more than $2,500 in merchandise from a Coach outlet store.
From Raw Story:
Sabrina Rodriguez and an accomplice allegedly stole 10 wallets from the upscale retailer Coach in March 2013, but was only recognized last week when one of the store’s employees noticed her during a local news report.
It looks as though Rodriguez may well have a bit of a drug habit to go with her alleged stealing habit. More from Raw Story:
Her fiancé, Nicholas Gray, was arrested on unrelated arson charges stemming from a May 6, 2014 fire in the home he shares with Rodriguez. The couple claimed that the stove exploded, and police declined to comment on whether they were related to Gray’s later arrest for manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of marijuana or hashish for sale.
Putting all snark aside, this is yet another reminder that the scourge of drug abuse remains a serious public health issue that has permeated all levels of society.
She wouldn’t be blonde by any chance, would she? :)
.
And honestly? What’s it saying about her that no one recognized her on security tapes when they noticed missing inventory before now?
Yeah, we got a billion jokes about her over here. Most of which end in one of those two points.
