It's that time of the week when we ask you, our readers, to decide which was the most outrageous Fox News quote of last week. This week's crop of candidates includes lots about Donald Trump (natch) but also Pope Francis and black voters, in general. Check them out and cast your vote!
This week's nominees are:
“Black Americans, my people, have become willfully ignorant. They don’t do their homework. They buy into these lies. They see a ‘D’ next to the name and they just check the box.”
Sean Hannity, admiring Donald Trump’s tweeted “joke” that President Obama would have attended Justice Scalia’s funeral if it had been held in a mosque:
"You sent [a tweet] out this weekend and I thought it was one of the funniest I ever read."
Bill O’Reilly, lecturing Pope Francis after he chided Republican rhetoric about immigration:
"Finally, the pope. I would very much like to speak with him. And if I can arrange that, I would like to bring the family of Kate Steinle with me.
…I think I could persuade the pope that providing protection and enforcing settled law is certainly not un-Christian. What is against the tenets of Jesus is to allow chaos that harms innocent people, like Kate Steinle and her family."
"Trump is popular because so many voters have really had it with President Obama."
“Straight news anchor” Martha MacCallum after interviewing a couple in legal hot water for refusing to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding:
“I’m sorry for what you guys have gone through.”
Sheriff Joe Arpaio, discussing Donald Trump:
"I think he’ll get a lot of Hispanic votes. ...Don't believe the polls.”
Donald Trump, blaming Chris Wallace as an "explanation" for his own complaints that a judge in the Trump University fraud case is Hispanic:
"Because you always bring it up, Chris, because you always say how the Hispanics don’t like Donald Trump. You always bring it up in your poll numbers. You say that Hispanics don’t like Donald Trump. You’re the one that brings it up—"
By the way, last week's winner of our Outrageous Quote poll was Pastor Robert Jeffress, for his demand that Pope Francis apologize to Donald Trump.

The Trump supporters may hate Obama but Cruz is just as much of an Obama hater as Trump so I think Trump is popular because of Republicans, not Obama.
As for F&F and the Oscars, I saw that Kevin Jackson was on. But I’m expecting more tonight so am holding my powder, so to speak.
I’m way tired, so I may not post until tomorrow.
It’s one reason I’m so stressed over this election. I’ve never witnessed anything like the voters’ mood. More angst in the air than even the 60s during the Vietnam War which is about as far as my memories go. 😞
