The Curvy Couch Crew all but chanted, “Run, Lindsey Run!” when Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) visited Fox & Friends yesterday.
Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck “just asked,” Graham, “Who can step in and regain the position of power and influence to lead the globe?”
”The person who can articulate an alternative to Barack Obama,” Graham answered. “A person who can articulate, ‘Here are the threats, here are our enemies and here are our friends and here’s how we reengage. Here’s how you actually degrade and destroy ISIL, here’s how you reset the situation in the Mideast. Here’s how you negotiate with Iran who’s been trying to cheat for the last 20 years.’”
Co-host Steve Doocy interrupted. “Senator, you’re describing you!” Doocy was smiling and sounded full of enthusiasm.
“Well, all I can say is I’m well qualified for that task and others,” Graham replied. "But the good news for the Republican party, we have a chance here to rebuild America before it’s too late and articulate how you defend a country. It’s not just about killing terrorists, it’s about building up other people in the region, and when they tell you to your face it’s better to be America’s enemy than friend, somebody needs to fix that.”
Co-host Brian Kilmeade repeatedly said, “Right.” He asked Graham, “Will you decide by May?”
”Yes, I’m going to look long and hard at it,” Graham said.
”It’s a great choice for you to come in today,” Kilmeade quipped.
Nothing says, “we report, you decide” like suggesting someone would make a great presidential candidate!
