Fox Attacks Obama For Canceling Rally Because Of Hurricane Sandy

Posted by Ellen -6716.20pc on October 29, 2012 · Flag

With their Benghazi witch hunt overshadowed by Hurricane Sandy, it was only a matter of time before Fox News figured out a way to use the Frankenstorm to attack President Obama. But have no fear, Obama haters, your wait is over. On this morning’s Fox & Friends, Brian Kilmeade and reporter John Roberts worked in three swipes at Obama in just over two minutes.

First, Kilmeade “asked” if the fact that President Obama flew down to Orlando for a rally and then canceled it was a sign of “disarray or discontent.”

We knew how bad the storm was before the President left for Orlando. Nothing’s really changed that much… Does it show a sign of disarray or discontent within the Obama re-election campaign that he comes down here, doesn’t do anything, he just flies back?

Roberts answered,

Well, I mean first of all… how much did it cost to fly Air Force One down and back when the President didn’t even appear at that event? But… (hurricane) weather can be very unpredictable and a lot of I think the reason why they brought the president back was they didn’t know how bad the weather was going to be in Washington at the time when he got back… and if it had degraded by that time, there might be some risk getting the president back to the White House. …For them, I think they took the prudent step of getting him back earlier but it does, you know, make you question why he went down in the first place.”

Kilmeade sneered, “So you think going back was the key rather than the image of him campaigning on the day of a hurricane?”

Roberts concurred, “You can’t do that. You just can’t do that.”

I have no doubt more attacks will follow, especially if Obama should do an especially good job of handling the storm and its aftermath.

“What amazes me is that they haven’t figured out how they can blame this disaster storm on President Obama.”

They already tried saying Obama can control the weather- remember when that Hurricane threatened the RNC, and they tried to say Obama created it?

Yes, people on Fox News pushed that, too- It wasn’t just Limbaugh and Beck. Though their hysteria was much more fun to make fun of.

Ignorance thy names is the “Three couch Potatoes”,and these wackos get big money for being stupid, what a joke.but all this aside I can’t wait to hear Bile spout his bulls…,he has had all day to come up with his own super spins and most likely will have his buddies the toesucker, the undertaker and hamhead on the “Spin zone”to reinforce his vile crap about President Obama’s role in all this horror.

Faux Snoooze writers are preparing the story of “Sand Dementia” as reasoning behind Gov. Christies overwhelming kudos to President Obama for his leadership and help during Sandy. Steve Doochbag claims he had sand kicked in his face as a child many times and knows personally how Gov. Christie is feeling. Brian Killmeade claims he never had sand kicked in his face and he spent many hours alone on the beach as his parents repeatedly left him there. Gretchen laughed as she thought Steve and Brian putting sand down her pants was the explanation for the constant itching and scratching, it wasn’t.

@Anne-claire: do not despair; it’s early days and they’re working on it.

What amazes me is that they haven’t figured out how they can blame this disaster storm on President Obama.I have visions of the President physically whipping up and blowing this storm towards the good old USA.

So Obama gets attacked/portrayed negatively for cancelling his rally appearance. And, had Obama gone ahead with his rally, he would have been attacked/portrayed negatively.

There you go, folks, as per FOX “news”, it’s a lose-lose for Obama. Meanwhile, Romney scores points because he asks people to pray for the storm victims and to give to the red cross. (eye roll)

I caught some FOX “news” and some conservative talk radio today. It was hysterical listening to them trying to decided how best to tackle the storm situation. Should they upset because the storm might give Obama a chance to appear more Presidential than Romney? Or should they be pleased about the storm because it might keep some of those early votin’ Dem from making it to the polls? Poor right-wingers, they were so torn between the 2 scenarios.

one point that I’ve seen out of several Conservative names, but not Fox News (YET) is this one:

*Why did Obama cancel events to oversee Hurricane Sandy? He didn’t put his campaign or his presidency on hold for the Baenghazi attacks! Is a stupid little storm really more important than hunting terrorists?"

The first time I heard that was out of Romney’s mouth, and was repeated yb Gingrich yesterday. I started praying their comments go viral- Because if nothing else, It shows them so out of touch that even the racists will consider voting Obama.

The Rich Mormon White Guy deserves the White House. He’s Rich, He’s White and Morons aren’t Muslim. Having a Black Muslim POTUS in the White House is just So Wrong!

FACT:

Super Obama flew really fast over the Pacific to create this Frankenstorm on the east coast giving him the chance to freshen up Joe Biden’s sinking popularity numbers.

Just put the above on a cue card and give it to anyone on Fox and Friends. They will parrot it on the air without giving any thought to it.

Just like when they “reported” the jet-packs purchased by the L.A. police department. Or the 40 million pesos to fly to India.

@count istvan. I also have no doubt that Brain is mentally challenged. He just looks almost normal when sitting next to Daddy Douchebag who would have to get a lot smarter to even qualify as an idiot.

Pretty sure Brian Kimeade is mentally disabled.
