When an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found Ted Cruz overtaking Donald Trump in a “significant reversal” of their standings, a Trump adviser suggested it was because the Wall Street Journal is owned by Rupert Murdoch.
From Media Matters:
Many political observers have suggested that the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll could be an outlier. But Dan Scavino, the Trump campaign’s director of social media and senior adviser, provided a more conspiratorial theory:
In concert with Scavino, Trump called the “phony poll” a “joke” and complained that the “dying” Wall Street Journal is worse than “unfair and unbalanced” Fox.
As I’ve recently posted, Trump is on another anti-Fox roll these days. Never mind that so many of Fox’s pundits are obviously in the Trump tank for him. Maybe that’s just part of the conspiracy to hide the real bias, eh?
By the way, Fox News has another debate coming up in two weeks. Despite his promise to participate in it, is Trump laying the groundwork for weasling out of it again?
