What happens when a supposedly objective news host promotes a conspiracy theory that President Obama threatened to have Chelsea Clinton killed in order to protect his secret foreign birth? Nothing - if you're a Fox News host. Apparently, Heather Childers' tweet "just asking" for "thoughts" on the subject was no impediment to her hosting America Live yesterday, which airs from 1-3 PM ET, during what Fox News claims is its "objective" news lineup. And, as usual, being part of Fox's "objective" news lineup was no impediment to promoting the Republican viewpoint.

Coincidentally, the Republican guest for this debate was a fellow birther, Dee Dee Benkie, a former Bush operative. As John Amato, at Crooks and Liars, noted, Benkie took a courageous stand on behalf of "job creators." 

We take care of the people who need to be -- we need to take care of the job creators so we don't have a stranglehold on them as far as taxing them to death.

Then Benkie added, "and then we've got to adjust Obamacare because it's really, a lot of the businesses right now are struggling. There's so much to be worked on."

That's when "objective" Childers jumped in to add her part for "adjusting" Obamacare. "John Boehner said Obamacare needs to be on the table." Right, just doing a bit of reporting there, just as she was "just asking" about the Obama/Clinton assassination plot.

Jehmu Greene, the lone Democrat, said, "Obamacare is the law of the land ladies and let's not forget it."

"We'll see," Childers added gratuitously.
