Bill O'Reilly Still Whining About The Loss Of 'Traditional America'

Posted by Ellen -390.60pc on November 26, 2012 · Flag

While many of us just finished a Thanksgiving weekend filled with family, friends and feasting, Bill O'Reilly seems to have spent it sucking his sour grapes of racial resentment at the loss of “traditional America.” You may recall that O'Reilly has been whining about this subject for weeks now. Tonight, he announced during his Talking Points segment, “Many Americans are depressed because traditional America seems to be disappearing.” Many Americans? Or just those who can't stand the thought of their taxes going up to pay for welfare queens?

In case you didn't get what kind of (white) traditional America O'Reilly was referring to, he soon brought up President Obama and his “social justice” philosophy. Obama “will take money away from successful Americans in order to finance his vision,” O'Reilly said.

Poor Bill. So many welfare queens, so little likelihood that his taxes will not go up and get “redistributed” (in his mind) to all those non-traditional, people-of-color Americans. And just in time for the war on Christmas!

Comparing REAL America to that sinkhole of a state (Texas) is something I am thrilled that we have NO connection to. Either present or past. I lived in Tecks-ass for a year in 1975 and couldn’t get my Northeastern Yankee A$$ out of there soon enough (although the woman were SMOKIN’ and THEY wanted out of there as much as I did.) I recently passed through there (2 1/5 days in 2010) on a cross country sight seeing trip and half the state was boarded up with NO local businesses open at all, in about 10 city’s I passed thru. So this “Texas has no taxes” thing has worked wonders for the small business owners there. The ONLY income they have is the cops catching speeders in the desolate 200+ mile spans of flat roads that make your foot press down heavier and heavier on the accelerator because you feel like your standing still. Yes I admit. I contributed to the income of the Troopers of Haskel Texas in 2010. And when I paid my fine the ONLY 3 things open in the town were the
courthouse, a Dairy Queen, and 1 hotel. I have NEVER seen that many plywood windows in my life, and I have been thru hurricanes.
So to the point. It wouldn’t matter if Texas had income taxes as NOBODY has an income.

Side note:
Bill. If you want to see ‘Traditional America’ watch the movie “Gangs of New York”. See how the welcome mat was laid out for the Irishman.

@Rich S. – You are correct. TX is a high tax state.

And like AAP relays about his, er, friend in CA, I too pay enough property taxes to make up for a state income tax. And believe me, in my wide circle of friends, even though my property taxes are high, my friend’s are higher. And most of my friends, being native Texans, hence conservatives, refuse to admit they’re being butt raped by the state.

But you know what? On one hand, I don’t mind because half of that goes to the school district and our school district is one of the best in the state. Our streets are relatively well maintained, and the police force and fire departments aren’t having to lay off people. On the other hand, if TX had a state income tax, everyone’s property taxes would probably go down.

BillO: “Many Americans are depressed because traditional America seems to be disappearing.” Many Americans?

To BillO:

“Many Americans” = white, Christian, upper 1% males

California’s property tax is 1% plus any other local taxes (going to schools, fire, police, emergency services)

Let’s make it easy. There is this guy I know paying, rounding up figures for the sake of simplicity, 1.5% living in Los Angeles.

According to the Franchise Tax Board (California’s tax collector) the sales tax is “as low as” 7.25%. Again, depending on the locale, it may be as high as 8.75%.
So, let’s make it an even 10%.

I don’t think anyone wants to go through a 1040 and California’s CA540, but let me say this. My friend pays enough in property taxes ALONE to just square off his yearly state tax obligation, maybe paying a couple hundred bucks with the final return.

Having said that, Billdo’s argument is a complete fallacy.

BECAUSE my friend makes his money WHERE he can make money.

Let me put it another way.
There are places, even within California, where I, er, my friend wouldn’t live.

And I, er, my friend don’t go around bitchin’ about my taxes are soooo high I rather quit making money, BECAUSE NOT MAKING MONEY makes SOOOO MUCH SENSE.

How much traditional ’murka has changed!

From doors17’s comment:

“Come on Bill, make your new theme song for your show, Chopin’s The Funeral March.”

Dear doors17: if O’Lielly does that, I don’t think too many of his followers will be “dying” to hear it!

:^)

@Visitor 55 Correct me if I’m wrong on this, but in addition to the “other” taxes you cited, I’ve heard that Texas imposes LOTS OF VERY REGRESSIVE USAGE FEES as well. Once again, let me repeat Universal Tax Rule #1: when rich individuals and big corporations don’t pay taxes or pay less than their fair share, SOMEONE ELSE MUST MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE! Working class Americans (including me) know all too well who that someone else always is.

My son lives in Texas ,he says they are being bled to death with other taxes. We also know California is a mess, nobody can afford to live there ,even the Hollywood crowd are trying to sell their mansions at the cost of loss.So if Bile wants to promote living in either one of those two States I will be happy to kick his sorry ass over the Stateline.Texas please secede and vote Beck and Bile President and Vice President of that sorry place, jeez what a hoot that would be.And don’t bother with a passport program nobody but nobody would want to travel there.

Instead of fretting about paying a few more tax dollars, Bildo should worry about KKKlannity’s plan to take over Bildo’s Fux Noise time slot.

“In Texas there is no income tax and that’s why so many workers are moving there.”

The ignorance of POS borally is astounding. Good grief, the pig is stupid.

In TX, we pay federal taxes like everyone else. What we don’t have is a state income tax. BUT, and that’s a huge but, the repubic TX legislation thinks we’re too stupid to notice all the other taxes that are imposed on us. (and to be honest, there are some people in TX who are too stupid to notice.) Sales taxes are high. City and county taxes are high. Property taxes are sky high. Don’t be fooled, the state forces us to make up the lost revenue that a state income tax would provide.

And by the way, POS borally, there are other states that don’t have a state income tax. Are “many workers moving there” too, stupid?

Another thing eating at Little Billy, is that Sean Hannocchio is becoming more popular than Little Billy. The only new wrinkles on THE FACTOR, are Little Billy’s new wrinkles. " make-up make-up get me joan rivers on speed dial"

I kid you not, guys.

For my previous post, I had written a comparison between California and Texas without knowing Billdo had made the same and it was the basis for his “let’s bash the progressive secularist President.”

I scraped it after thinking maybe it was too long.

Now I found Billdo’s rant against California at another site.

I’ll start by saying Billdo doesn’t know WTF he is talking about with his idiotic non sequitur.

I’ll will skip the long rant debunking Billdo but the conclusion will be the same.

Billdo, if you don’t like the LBRUL states MOVE THE PHUCK OUT TO TEXAS and SECEDE.

NOW.

Once again I am speechless at Billdo’s magnificent stupidity.

“In Texas there is no income tax and that’s why so many workers are moving there.”

WTF?!?

Billdo, you ignorant whiner, you think people finding a job and getting paid worry about their state income taxes?

Do us all a favor Billdo. Pull a sht flinging baboon Glenn Beck and MOVE TO TEXAS so you don’t have to pay those horrible TAXES.

No, wait, Billdo. Move to the Cayman Islands.
Then whine some more about the demise of “traditional murka” because morons in Texas want to secede and be free of President Obama’s big bad gubbimint Marxist vision.

Don’t forget to sell all your assets before capital gains taxes go up, Billdo.

Killer O’Reilly said:

President XXX “will take money away from successful Americans in order to finance his vision,”

That’s how it’s been since Dec. 7 1941 Killer. “Empire” costs everyone. If it makes you feel better you can claim your taxes for the past 16 years paid for the op. to kill OBL. Got that? … now STFU!

Billy recently received a new contract with Fox “News” and a hefty increase in salary. Yet, he whines like a spoiled little boy. Money must not bring him happiness.

NOTE TO BILLY

The only reason Ailes keeps you because your show is #1. But that won’t last long because Hannity has plans to be the new #1 Fox “News” show, but you knew this already, old guy.

Perhaps this is Pres. Obama’s answer to all those wealthy(see-Job Creators) folks who recieved 12 years of reduced tax burden, in order to create jobs, but failed to create jobs.

Now the tax breaks might go to folks who will actually spend that money on goods and services, thereby creating demand, thereby creating the need for business to hire more folks. That creates a self-sustaining economic cycle of prosperity for both individuals and business.

Why are Republicans so bad at simple economics?

It seems that Bildo feels that the WAR ON THE RICH is more important than the WAR ON CHRISTMAS this year.
If he’s not careful, his goobers might just turn on him!
