Remember how last week Bill O’Reilly insisted, “I’m not in business to make money… I don’t care about that?” I hope that, like me, you never bought that. Because last night, O’Reilly announced that he had quit his radio gig because his tax bracket is too high or, as O’Reilly colorfully put it, “the giant colossus of ‘take, take, take’ from me, the entrepreneur,” made it “not worth my time any more.”
On March 11th, O’Reilly justified his unhinged meltdown with Alan Colmes by saying it was needed to get people’s attention about the dangers of our country’s fiscal condition. O’Reilly said then:
Now all Factor viewers should know one thing about me. I’m not in business to make money or to accumulate fame. I don’t care about that.
Wow, what a difference a week makes! Last night, O’Reilly lectured guest Juan Williams:
For the past few years, I’ve been doing radio talking points, alright? And this year I stopped doing it. I just stopped doing it on Friday because my tax burden is now so high and then I had to pay agents, commissions and all of that. …So I just said no, I can’t do it. It’s not worth my time any more. So about three or four people, then, they didn’t lose their jobs entirely but they lost a big portion of their jobs. Because I walked away from a situation which wasn’t economically tenable any more. Because the federal and state government in New York, OK? Taking too much money. It’s not worth me doing it any more.
So it would seem that Mr. “I’m looking out for you” suddenly cares a great deal about money. So much so that he was perfectly happy for other people to lose money just because he wasn’t making enough.
Either that or he quit just because too much of the money he did make was going to those “takers,” he’s been railing against lately. He continued:
And this is what I’m talking about, Juan. …That the giant colossus of ‘take, take, take’ from me, the entrepreneur, is harming the economy and that is one small example that’s irrefutable, Juan.
NOTE TO BILLY
Levin attacks you on his radio show, and he knows you won’t call him to the carpet on your show because you are afraid of him.
Cue the the music (daa, daaaa, da-da, da-da, da-da…). Announcer: “It’s the Falafal Bill Show. Starring Falafal Bill O’Liely (Flalfal trips over the ottoman of truth), Jesse Waters, Dennis Miller, Juan Williams and Laura Ingraham.”
Isn’t harrassing his wife enough for him, must he harass us on a daily basis with his bullshit as well.If he doesn’t want to pay taxes then, leave and don’t let the door hit you in your obnoxious ass.
But now that he needs to work another agenda – that the wealthy like him are paying too much in taxes – he’s willing to hurt others’ jobs because HE is not getting enough $ out of it. Bwaaah! This is the real BOR. That guy from last week was just a liar attempting to salvage what little was left of his credibility.
And, not only did BOR suggest that he’d be quitting if Obama raised his taxes, back when his now defunct radio show was still on the air, BOR said that if Obama got elected and raised his taxes, he would leave the USA and go live on some Caribbean island where he wouldn’t have to pay so many taxes. Screw his employees’ jobs and living in this wonderful country – nah, BOR wants his money! LOL!
How is he an “entrepreneur?” He works for someone else. I mow my neighbors lawn-does that make him an entrepreneur? If I pay Jiffy-Lube to change my oil should I consider myself to be an entrepreneur?
