Fox News frequently injects itself into political controversy (community organizing?) for the purpose of influencing the outcome in the "right" direction. However, recent Colorado school district election results demonstrate that Fox News isn't always able to git er done!
Last year, when Colorado students protested AP history curriculum changes designed to inculcate patriotism and other revisionist history dreck, Fox took to the airwaves in order to denigrate those students. Gretchen Carlson was incredulous that American youth would object to promotion of patriotism and respect for authority. She informed her afternoon show's audience that these kids, who were expressing their 1st Amendment rights, were unpatriotic "punks."
Other Fox shows reported on this egregious behavior by students who, if they had been standing up for Jesus, would have been heaped with praise. On Fox & Friends, the happy morning morons even suggested that the student were "pawns" of the evil, librul teachers unions. Fox falsely reported that the school board approved the changes.
Flash forward to Tuesday's election and, despite the best efforts of Fox News, the three conservative school board members (one of whom appeared on Fox & Friends), who pushed for the changes, were dumped.
As the saying goes, you can't always get what you want, but for Fox, if it's promotion of propaganda, you get what you need!
