This morning, in what has to be a new low for Fox & Friends, Elisabeth Hasselbeck attacked a group of Oakland CA Brownies just because they espouse social justice and say that black lives matter.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck reported that "there is a new Brownie troupe in California and these girls aren't selling cookies or learning to sew." She presented video evidence of what the girls "are being taught." In the video, the self described "radical Brownies" saying that they OMG stand for social justice. Hasselbeck framed the Fox propaganda in the form of the question of whether the troop leaders are "indoctrinating" 8 and 11 year old girls. (Note: This group is not affiliated
She introduced Crystal Wright, who runs the "Conservative Black Chick" blog. Wright is known for her insensitivity to African-American issues such as when she attacked Trayvon Martin's mother for creating a "race war." So not surprisingly she said that this group reflects "the ignorance of Ferguson, the Ferguson lies now being brainwashed into eight and ten year old girls."
She advance the popular right wing hatred of Obama and his scary black Attorney-General when she accused them of saying that "white police officers are out hunting down young black man when we know the opposite" which, according to Wright, is that black men are "killed and being killed by each other." (Guess she doesn't know or care about racial disparities in our criminal justice system and that young black men are 21 times more likely to be killed by cops.)
Hasselbeck said that she was initially inclined to give this the benefit of the doubt because the group seemed to be empowering young minority women but now she wonders if the girls, some of whom were shown on video talking about Michael Brown, were being taught the wrong "facts." She took issue with the girls' comment that Michael Brown "didn't do anything" because that wasn't "what was proven." (Nothing was "proven." An arguably mishandled Grand Jury didn't have enough evidence to indict the cop who did not file an official report.) She asked "how responsible" it is for the group's leaders to be "indoctrinating" them.
Wright said the group is lying because "we know that Michael Brown had a lot to do with his tragic demise" as did Trayvon Martin. She asserted that "it's irresponsible for adults to teach a lie" and that she would like to see the girls learn "what is really killing" black boys and men. She suggested that if the girls joined a real Brownie troupe to learn skills such as leadership, survival, friendship, and - wait for it - sewing and accused the leaders of "raising little racists." As she said this, a photo of the group, holding a "black lives matter" sign, was shown. (I guess standing up for the importance of black lives is racist?)
In reacting to the group's mission statement, Wright asked why the world "needs to be more radical." In totally misrepresenting what the "Black Lives Matter" movement is all about, she said that she thought it was all about peace and harmony. Playing the patented Fox News "scary black man" card, she mentioned that the Brownie troup was modelled on OMG the Black Panthers. Hasselbeck agreed that it is "sad" because it's such an impressionable age."
In the real world, "the initiative has been receiving an overwhelming wave of nationwide media attention, and an outpouring of community support along with it." And despite Fox & Friends trying to paint them as scary radical kids who are learning bad stuff about bad black people, they learn about "accepting their bodies despite societal pressures and norms perpetuated by the media and pop culture" and healthy friendships.
Fox & Friends has no problem with kids who are involved in the "pro-life" movement. But kids who are learning about racial injustice are seen as "little racists." Really, how responsible is it for Fox News to be indoctrinating its views with this hate mongering trash directed towards little girls. Talk about ignorance!

Lizzy, and the other on-air broads are sex props for the Nixon Trainee.
This is not new cleavage. Hasselbanana’s worn this little yellow number before and it always accents her education the same way.
With all my love,
