Fox News Inspires Mosque Arsonist!

Posted by Priscilla 0.20pc on December 20, 2012 · Flag

The propaganda on America's "Fair & Balanced" newsroom, Fox News, must be quite effective. Randall Linn, an Indiana man who pled guilty to setting a fire in a mosque, told the court that the reason for his shenanigans was that he got "riled up" as a result of watching Fox News. When the judge asked him if was acquainted with any Muslims or Islam, he responded "No, I only know what I hear on Fox News and what I hear on radio." This sterling example of the kind of American patriotism touted on Fox Nation said that “Muslims are killing Americans and trying to blow stuff up" and "most Muslims are terrorists and don’t believe in Jesus Christ.”  Who says that Fox viewers aren't well informed!

“His hate crime was inspired by the 45 beers he drank, not what he saw on FOX news.”

Oh….so that makes it all okay.

I said over a week ago that this moron should be ignored, or better yet, banned.
It adds nothing to the discussion, and the downward spiral of its circular ‘arguments’ is not worth our time.

@average American Patriot: “U sound exactly like Billdo demanding anyone and everyone answers to his stoooopid demands.”

Why, AAP — methinks you just outed I’m Mad!’s TRUE identity!

i call out crap like this on the huffington post and they delete my comments. fox snooze, the right wing republican conservative rhetoric and all the “in breads” (as i read in a born again chat room) need to be held accountable for action caused by a reaction.

Get your own blog, U dumbass.

U sound exactly like Billdo demanding anyone and everyone answers to his stoooopid demands.

U want to see President Obama’s college records too?

The rightwingnut definition of “personal responsibility” in action . . .

For some reason, I don’t think Mr. Linn’s comments on his knowledge of Islam will be the focus of O’Falafel’s Talking Points segment tonite.

I don’t think there will be a follow-up with the video, because we already linked you to both longer videos and videos from other people, U. Ellen also wrote up that Crowder has been caught lying. Seriously, let it go.

Now, on to the more infinitely interesting excuse of the 45 beers. According to U, this guy drank 45 beers in six hours, then went out and randomly committed a hate crime. The fact that he admits he got all his information about the group he committed it against from Fox News is irrelevant.

I have three questions:

1) Given the burn rate of alcohol in the body, and the rate in which he’d have to drink them to even make that… what kinda bitch beer was he downing to not be sucking face with the floor?!

2) The best case for blaming the drinking is that alcohol compromises your inhibitions, so how can we prove he wasn’t thinking about something like that sober? Which brings me to…

3) When asked the questions to determine his standing with Muslims, he spouted hate speech, and told the law that he didn’t have an opinion of Muslims that was informed past what he saw on Fox News. Hence the point of this article.

Sober, the man is at least racist enough against Muslims to be vocal about it, and he fingered Fox News as the sole source of his opinion. But you keep on trying to say it was the beer, and only the beer, U.

No doubt Sean Hannity will have him on his show to parade this Great American unjustly persecuted for his xtian, great patriotic deeds.

There is another dumbarse who also went berserk shooting at California police because he listened to Glenn Beck.

And the idiot who committed suicide after hearing President Obama had been re-elected.

And the other idiot who threatened to kill his LBRUL girlfriend.

And the wife running over his husband because he didn’t vote against Obama.

And the moron secessionists in Texas.

And Sarah Palin bitchin about President Obama being selected as TIME’s Person of the Year.

And Donald Trump…

Oh…. I am laughing so hard… I better stop.

LULZ!

I call BS on the 45 beers. He looks a little portly so we’ll call him 300lbs, assuming he’s a heavy drinker, 45 beers in 6 hours would constitute a BAC of almost .40 or legally a corpse…not wasted. He’d have to weigh something around 500 lbs to be anything less than comatose.

His hate crime was inspired by the 45 beers he drank, not what he saw on FOX news. After that much alcohol its unlikely he could even remember his name, much less anything he heard on the news.

U – The thread is about a convicted arsonist whose hate crime was inspired by his Fox News viewing. Please stay on topic. Crowder has nothing to do with it.

Greg, I guess the Crowder getting beat was justified, right? Since you think he’s an idiot its ok that he was assaulted? Sounds about right.
U Mad? commented 2012-12-20 15:31:19 -0500 · Flag
The entire unedited tape is available now. It shows what happened all the way through. Just head to youtube and type in “unedited union assault footage”. And your post says nothing about the 45 beers he drank before doing what he did. Pretty sure at that point he’s drunk enough to pull a Berkowitz and think a demon possessing his neighbors dog told him to do it. This isnt about FOX news, its about a drunk idiot too stupid to comprehend the real world without some substance to distort his view of it.

45 beers in 6 hours. 9 an hour. I’m surprised drunk dufus didn’t put out his own arson with all the peeing he had to be doing.

You don’t mind if I call you U, do you? U, the union tape thing, edited or not, is something I like to call “when idiots collide.” BS begat BS. Happens every day with two people with opposing views.

Now, U, this case is different because, well, it’s now part of an official court record. This guy confessed that watching nothing but Fox and other right-wing media filled his little brain full of incorrect information that resulted in him committing felonies.

Got it, U?
Aria Prescott commented 2012-12-20 15:21:34 -0500 · Flag
U, I posted an 8 minute video for you three times that discredits Crowder. You moved to another thread and tried to claim you didn’t see it all three times. So how about you retire that little talking point?

And what did we leave out? I spent hours reviewing everything covering this, Linn told the police that he was motivated by an image of Islam given to him by Fox News. What’s the best case scenario in that being his defense?

After Knoxville, Tiller, Williams, Huatree, Harris, Kane and Ready? Not good for Fox. Especially with their reputation for hate speech against religions that aren’t Christian enough for them.
U Mad? commented 2012-12-20 14:54:30 -0500 · Flag
And where’s the post about the unedited Union assault video? Anyone gonna tackle that subject again?
