The propaganda on America's "Fair & Balanced" newsroom, Fox News, must be quite effective. Randall Linn, an Indiana man who pled guilty to setting a fire in a mosque, told the court that the reason for his shenanigans was that he got "riled up" as a result of watching Fox News. When the judge asked him if was acquainted with any Muslims or Islam, he responded "No, I only know what I hear on Fox News and what I hear on radio." This sterling example of the kind of American patriotism touted on Fox Nation said that “Muslims are killing Americans and trying to blow stuff up" and "most Muslims are terrorists and don’t believe in Jesus Christ.” Who says that Fox viewers aren't well informed!

@aria none of your examples show me any FOX news employee, news story, or article, calling for violence against Muslims. Show me where on FOX he would have gotten the Idea to burn down a Mosque. Are you telling me that if I go to a left wing site and read a comment that threatens the Leader of the NRA and I commit an act of violence against him it is the website’s fault?

So you believe the part about FOX but not the part where he said he drank 45 beers? Thats insane. You either believe he’s telling the truth or he’s a liar; you dont get to pick which parts to believe based on how you want the story presented.
And Aria, Crowder never said he pushed that guy to the ground. The video evidence shows he didnt push the guy to the ground. You’re taking him saying he was pushing people back to keep them from the tent and twisting it to say he pushed this guy down. You lie. He never said he pushed that man down. Show me this supposed link where Crowder says he pushed down the man that attacked him. You cant. You take something else and make it the lie you want to believe because in the end its all about justifying the violence to you. Your whole schtick is that he deserved it. Thats the difference between people like you and me. When there’s violence it doesnt matter who did what to who in my world; the person doing the attacking is wrong. In your world its all about who got attacked. If the roles were reversed you would be outraged, but since it was a conservative being attacked you MUST find a way to justify it.

@vacuous Offkilter: the man who torched the mosque said – to JUSTIFY his action – that he’d gotten the idea after watching Fox News. He presented that as his DEFENCE.
As for that other part of his defence (i.e. having drunk 45 beers) methinks he was exaggerating. Can’t figure out why, though. Can you?
Anyway, nobody invented that stuff: he presented both stories as part of his defence.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ya.

@aria: I was thinking that, too. Only think that makes me think he’s not is that Vacuous Offkilter (former name of U Mad?) has said nothing about the Millennials (his own generation) being “moochers”. Our guest is not Crowder but as close to a clone as one can get.

I’m starting to think U Mad is Steven Crowder, on the basis that Crowder is literally the only other person in the known universe that still cares about discrediting his own videos. That, and that his replies are starting to sound a lot like @scrowder’s feed.
If you are Crowder, thanks for blocking me from posting on your Facebook and Twitter when I called you on your whole “I’m peaceful, unions are violent BS” with your tweets saying “Patriots” should murder Obama supporters to keep them from voting, and that you hope Tea Partiers are serious about mass murdering Occupiers.
Care to address that now?
If you’re not Crowder, We’ve debunked you with links to his video, as well as other videos. We’ve also provided you with articles of Crowder getting caught in lies and admitting that, yes- he was there to start a fight, Yes, he did push that guy to the ground, and yes, the reason he gave his ultimatum was because he wanted a rematch first. You wouldn’t eve pretend you were gonna look, kinda like Joshua “Where’ your links?” Hatheway.
The topic is Randall Linn admitting that his racism against Muslims was formed by Fox News, and that the 45 beers excuse doesn’t hold water because we all looked up the numbers and there’s no way he would have been able to stand, let alone show the coherence to commit arson.

In the end Aria we will just have to agree to disagree on what we see when we watch the video. I see a man getting attacked because he disagrees with someone else. You see a man deservedly beaten for disagreeing with someone else.

And throwing out that BS that the tent was a hazard and the union protesters were just taking it down for their safety is ridiculous. I doubt even the most diehard lib can believe that BS line.

Picking a fight? Or being attacked? Crowder was attacked. He never pushed the other guy as most of you were claiming. But again, you guys see the violence as justified since the ones getting attacked are the ones that dont agree with you.

Joshua, try Knoxville, Tiller, Williams, Huatree, Looman, the death threats against Imam Rauf, Fox Nation’s excessive talk about murdering left-wing protesters…
Oh, wait- those are just the examples literally everyone who has seen even one source outside of Fox News knows about.
My bad, the only person who’s less willing to look at a second source than you is the mad one.
Speaking of which… U, I have the video. I burned it to a DVD from my work relay. You know what else is on there? Lee Stranahan’s video, several AFP videos, spectator videos from both sides… and they all show the same thing: The AFP compromising their tent until it has to be collapsed as a hazard, and Crowder blatantly picking a fight with the project foreman.
SPOILER: Not what you’re trying to claim at all. You really should let this one go before what respect for your intelligence we could still possibly have is forfeit.

@u Mad? I know. No reasoning. They accuse Fox News of being responsible for his actions (the thought of that gets people here all excited inside, kinda like you know who’s leg thrill). I ask for evidence of it and I get a diatribe about a Family Guy episode? I have about as much evidence to say that guy is a “Fox Hater” and planned the whole thing to besmirch the Fox News name. Yea, that makes me feel good inside. I’ll go with that narrative. (Snark snark)

Ooh, that’s rich…it must be SO hard for you wingnut folks to take this one. There’s literally no getting around it, the man himself admitted to exclusively watching Fox News for his information, which led him to set fire to a mosque thanks to their almost nonstop anti-Islamist propoganda…that’s a bitter pill to swallow, I get it, but swallow it you must. Eventually you guys have to realize that it isn’t acceptable to fabricate your own reality, you have to live in the one the rest of us inhabit.
Examples of Fox News advocating, promoting or supporting setting mosques on fire…you have GOT to be kidding me. It’s like that episode of Family Guy where Lois’ brother was killing fat guys, and she refused to believe it, making excuses for him even when confronted with evidence like his bedroom being plastered with pictures of him strangling people, or a corpse under his bed. Yes, you’ve actually managed to be such a parody of a real person, that you are now reflecting an episode of Family Guy. Bravo

@mlp: I share your unwillingness to participate in the “ring-around-a-rosy” style of conversation with people like “vacuous off-kilter”. You say A, I say Z, you say X I say B, “let’s call the whole thing off” because it’s so boring to go round and round in circles. Vacuous off-kilter simply refuses to look at the videos posted by Aria because he’s afraid it might cause him actually to wonder (aka think).

Oh….so that makes it all okay.
I said over a week ago that this moron should be ignored, or better yet, banned.
It adds nothing to the discussion, and the downward spiral of its circular ‘arguments’ is not worth our time.

I don’t think there will be a follow-up with the video, because we already linked you to both longer videos and videos from other people, U. Ellen also wrote up that Crowder has been caught lying. Seriously, let it go.
Now, on to the more infinitely interesting excuse of the 45 beers. According to U, this guy drank 45 beers in six hours, then went out and randomly committed a hate crime. The fact that he admits he got all his information about the group he committed it against from Fox News is irrelevant.
I have three questions:
1) Given the burn rate of alcohol in the body, and the rate in which he’d have to drink them to even make that… what kinda bitch beer was he downing to not be sucking face with the floor?!
2) The best case for blaming the drinking is that alcohol compromises your inhibitions, so how can we prove he wasn’t thinking about something like that sober? Which brings me to…
3) When asked the questions to determine his standing with Muslims, he spouted hate speech, and told the law that he didn’t have an opinion of Muslims that was informed past what he saw on Fox News. Hence the point of this article.
Sober, the man is at least racist enough against Muslims to be vocal about it, and he fingered Fox News as the sole source of his opinion. But you keep on trying to say it was the beer, and only the beer, U.

I call BS on the 45 beers. He looks a little portly so we’ll call him 300lbs, assuming he’s a heavy drinker, 45 beers in 6 hours would constitute a BAC of almost .40 or legally a corpse…not wasted. He’d have to weigh something around 500 lbs to be anything less than comatose.
