BBC is reporting that he "may stand down." FoxNews.com says he will do so in just a few minutes.

Although I enter 2011 with more trepidation than optimism, I still have hope that peace, a living wage, universal health care and good stewardship of the earth can be ours - if not in the coming year then in years to come.

I'm preparing a salad and home-made salad dressing for our upcoming feast. I'm thankful to be spending the holiday with my family, dysfunctional as we may be. I'm just as thankful for all the News Hounds community, some of whom have been with us since we began in 2004.
