Flu Pandemic - Don't Expect Much Help From The Feds
Today on Fox News Live with Bill Hemmer (12 - 1 p.m.) there was a hodgepodge of information regarding a possible tsunami, a possible bird flu pandemic and a possible suspicious package in Hollywood. It was 'possible' day on FNL.
What got my attention were two banners that ran during the bird flu pandemic segment. One said, "Report - Don't Expect Much Help From The Feds' and the second one said, 'White House Reports Chaos if Pandemic Strikes U.S.'
Comments: So, there you go. The Bush administration pays tons of money to come up with a report that says that there will be 'chaos' if the pandemic strikes and if it does? Well, don't expect much help from the Feds. As Jon Stewart would say, 'Your moment of Zen.'

Forbes on FOX Panelists Agree: Bird Flu Vaccine Should Be Sold to Highest Bidders, To Hell with the Vulnerable
On Saturday [11-12-05] the panelists on Forbes on FOX, hosted by David Asman, actually discussed whether or not the "free market" should apply in the face of a possible avian flu pandemic. Forbes magazine regulars Mark Tatge, Neil Weinberg and Victoria Barrett argued in favor of auctioning off limited supplies of bird flu vaccine to the highest bidders, while Jim Michaels and Dennis Neale disagreed.
